One example of aggressive Lyrium. I can go find more if I have to, but I'd be genuinely surprised if scum!Lyrium was just that aggressive especially to someone who is clear Town. Plus the fact that quite a few players here feel bad/guilty when they're scum (ex: Snowvon) and I think Lyrium kinda fits in that category.

Why do you think she's passive? Got any examples?

I'll choose TerRaine.
I can't see a point where her remarks have been pointing towards scum, She defended Sloth right up until the point where he died, which was a mercy lynch. Heading into the second game there seemed to be a branching after the initial tunnel, but the tunnelling set in again for a while. Now it seems to be back to branching.

 

I never addressed this but why? What is the advantage of holding on to things?

The only scum that had a viable power was Croc and nothing from what I see shows an advantage to not using one of his 3 shots. It both removes a potential damaging role to their team and gives them an identity to steal.

Worst case scenario they get someone like Nightwing.

Best case they get Deadman and remove a threat to someone calling them out on their identity theft

Penguin has no extra ability other than he decides to who goes for the assault/NK.

Two Face’s ability is a day ability

Clayface COULDN’T use his powers. He can’t take Robin.

And even if he could….he and Croc have 3 shots…I feel like it’s odd to assume they wouldn't use them to their full advantage. I get saving up 1 shots….3 shots though? Not so much

why did this seem unlikely? He was super low on post content and vague most of the day. He had reads but did they stick out to anyone? Why would a kill to give us the least info be something thats unlikely?

This seriously bothers me Zenzao….you’re asking a question about a ability that is VERY obvious that it wasn’t used.

Honestly the very POINT of croc is to hide things. It would be like us lynching a scum and saying “batman should interrogate XYZ player tonight!”


Now here's a weird interaction....

Earlier in D2....Lyr brings up her death in CYS and blames Zenzao for it. He is kind of timid and gentle with his response....seemingly having no issue with it.

Now after its been brought up that we need to look at Zen more closely...there's a sudden influx of offended defensiveness. Why weren't you this offended earlier Zen? It was the same accusation....it makes it seem like one reaction is scripted and the other real.

Because she's right Zen it kind of IS suspect that you're acting like you don't know the very roles we're looking to lynch. It could seem like a failed attempt at misleading town or a means by which to look like you're contributing to the game when it's fluff that isn't helpful

 

Hey Lyrium. Sorry for being quiet, my brother is visiting for the next week, so I have less time to play than before. Currently, my vote is on Titus, because I believe she's scum for several reasons:

I didn't like Nemrut when he was in that slot.

There was that whole blowup of hers with her pointing out that MB had been crumbing, which she shouldn't do if she were town, since by doing that she ensures that everyone (including the Riddler) notices.

Something about the whole Snow/Me mixup was weird, considering that she gave us different reads even before she was told we were different people, and even though she claimed that she was reading us the same.

I don't particularly think her case for Quank/against you is that strong. I mean, I highly doubt Sloth got himself lynched to protect Quank, and she based much of her case on saying that since Sloth was town, his reads must have been right, which is doubtful.

Those are a few of my main reasons for scum reading her.

I don't think of mechanics in the same deep way that you or TItus have. I thought of the first couple of things possible and I don't remember the post but I asked in thread and I think it was Rubicon who said that scum would most likely hold off on using their powers. I'm not 100% sure and not going back to look for it.

As for Zen, I think he's town. I'm fine with you tunneling him although I wish you were tunneling other people as well.

fluffy, its cool. Thanks for the read. It's interesting because it has been my experience that the more sense Titus makes the more scum she is and the less sense she makes the more town she is as in she's excellent scum and offbeat as town.

There's also just her and MB and the sisterly game to try to eliminate each other in games as early on as possible.

I agree though that I doubt Sloth got himself lynched for Quanksor.

I'm not sure on Quanksor, on the first day I just felt a bit bad for it but its been acting all mysteriouslike and I want it to talk to people.

Citrus, are you all caught up? Are you planning to do VCA? I just don't trust Titus doing it on her own in case of mis-something.

 

Hey guys sorry my turn for RL.

Won a battle today with the yard. The war will rage on later.

Gotta prep for family gathering tomorrow. Will catch up later.

@Citrus, the VCAs trowards the end prove more useful.

There are multiple ways of looking at this alignment and they all depend on Quank. I do think Quank is town, but both conditions should be looked at. I had to skim until the end of the day to get the idea of how things ended up. (Riddler is town for purposes of the VCA here. They aren't but Riddler's votes should mirror surivivalist town.)

Supposing Quank is town, we have two town wagons, both of which are having struggles to lynch. Just why and how was Sloth lynched over Quank? If Quank and Sloth are both town, who triggered the change over to the end?

We see that Quank and Sloth were dueling most of the day. Citrus Zenazo and His Fluffiness were all dead set on Sloth. I would expect one or two scum here at most. Given the difficulties in lynching either player, and both were town, we'd expect scum to be split....

One scum early on each wagon, and one scum late.

Given Sloth is harder to mislynch and would require force to lynch him over Quank, look at the shifts in the wagons. What triggered Sloth's wagon to be the larger one and gave it momentum.

We see Mathblade's vote doing that. Mathblade is called out by Von and others for being opportunistic. She rambles on about how Sloth claimed scum.

Now, I'm moving past the VCAs posted towards the end of the day.

There comes a position where Lyrium, House, KK and Mala have to make a decision over which to lynch. Lyrium picks and starts on Sloth again.


Supposing arguendo, Quank is scum, this behavior looks even more suspicious. Math and Lyrium jumping to save Quank. Then they hard bus to start the day. When I say Quank is town, they jump on me. Given my wagon strongly mirrors Quank, it's not terrible based on VCA alone.

Everyone had noticed Math was crumbing at that point. I have the subtlety of a hammer. Period.

The reads on you and Von were similar. That wall was impulsive as I thought. I genuinely did think you were the same person. The reads were similar in nature. I didn't double check anything nor had you posted since I posted. Some of the read walls had his fluffiness and we tend to use nicknames around here. Von had a similar nickname in WH.

I don't base my case on Sloth being right for Quank being town. Quank is town becaus Sloth tanked his lynch. He asked to be lynched and scum took advantage. There were a few opportunistic votes (see above) that really changed the tide as well.
