1. If its not for a HP story (or Naruto/other Anime), don't post it on DLP.

2. This is General Discussion. It says quite clearly that beta requests go into Fanfic discussion.

3. Use your brain...if you want a beta, you might want to give the slightest clue about what your fic is about.

 

So...uh... pardon me for asking, but what IS the story about?

 

Lol the story is about an assasin who is sent to kill various people around the world. Only he ends up falling in love with a woman who he is supposed to kill and then they end up planning to kill "The Employer" who the assasin is working for... That is all.. anything else would just ruin it

 

wow, what a fucking lame and utter stupid idea. dont ever post shit like this again. That has to be the worst idea for a story i have ever read. the only kind of reviews you would get will consist of flames and nothing more.

My advice QUIT while you are a head cause i dont think anyone here will bother reading this pile of shit let alone being a beta for it.

your signature also seems to give out some clear advice, you should bash your head into the wall until there is nothing left.

 

SushiZ, wow........ But yes I have to agree that sounds fairly bad. It's been done WAY too many times, sounds like you went to HP on fanfic and decided to write a story based on the first summary you saw.

 

Why ask for it here? It makes no fucking sense at all. The point of this site is HP, and it has grown to include anime.

If the guy wants a beta reader for a story that has nothing to do with what DLP focuses on, then there's no point wasting space by posting the request here.

I sked here because this is the only forums i actually read through, I'm not good with summarys so you can shut up about that. SushiZ i don't care what the fuck you think of my story because im writing it not you. Darkmon does it matter if its been down to many times if its a good story?

 

Umm. Yeah kinda. It's a lot better to come up with original ideas. I'm not a great writer but a forbidden love story? I dunno...

Well think about this...Have you ever read Battlefield Earth by Hubbard?? That is a story concept that has been used many times over the years before and after that book was released but that one book did the story concept so much better then the others that it alone stood in the spotlight

 

No, sorry, can't say that I have.

I'm not saying don't write it, I don't give a shit either way. But why would you write a story that's been done to death? If your good enough to think that you can turn a overdone plot into a great story that will stand alone compared to other stories of the basic plot line. Think how good a story with an original plot would be?

Think about it.

Like I said before, I'm not a very good writer. Perhaps someone else will.

Assasins are always a good starting point for a plot IMO but perhaps without forbidden love but another conflict that hasn't been through the mill and down the creek.

You could make it purely action/adventure and ditch the romance all together.

If your just rpelying to me though use PM so we don't get raped for post-whoring.

 

As i said in my PM I don't mind helping you out with plot and such like, though I would also agree, forbidden love will be difficult for you to write well, since it is a difficult thing to write well, and has been done so many times.

I don't know about the forbbiden love thing... it just... well sucks, an assasin wouldn't get that close to a target in the first place.

If your insistant on doing this though you should try racking your brain for some reasonable ideas as to how it could happen.
