I drew 3P survivor sans powers but could be bought and then I got culted. My culting ended up saving the cult head (Rubicon). I didn't want anyone visiting me or discovering a cult so I watched a fuck ton of madoka magica and found the flavor to pretty much explain away as if we were in an alternate universe and the day never happened.

Then I claimed mystical powers I would have gotten went off and completely bullshitted a guilty on Titus who was the town gravedigger and pretty much confirmed mason with Blab because she could have found out that if cult killed someone that there was a cult so I wanted her gone.

That game was insane.

Also, Lyr asking him for info is kinda... I don't know, it seems weird that she'd do that but given CYS allowed lynchee's to talk in Twilight I could see her forgetting that Kalas doesn't.

And I kinda second Qgquirinus on what you said, MB, on cracking the game's roles. Not wholly certain what to make of that right now, but does Quanksor as Nightwing align with your thoughts pre-flip?

But no, I'm not saying I won't explain them - I'm saying I'd rather not go into detail if you don't find it interesting/is obvious, because I have limited time to spend, and this game is claiming enough already.

I thought the last interaction of Atum with the thread (the string of posts that went down ~12hrs ago my time (IIRC)) were quite scummy, and spoke of an attitude that was entirely self-defensive rather than working for the town. Moreover, some of his reads seemed quite off, notably Snowyvon and Fluffy, with the fluff vote never being (IIRC) explained and the Snowy vote seemingly coming more from that selfsame defensive mindset - lashing out at aggressors - which is something I remember more historically.

 

Hehe maybe. I should be finishing reading D1 and I haven't so reading that would be just overkill.

How certain? Scale of 1-10? Cause I had Sloth pegged as Riddler with quite a bit of misguided confidence D1 and while I don't like Riley's absence, I'm not going to hold that against him so badly after Quanksor.

It would be about a 7. With all the town derping Riddler either guessed incorrectly or just was inactive more than likely. So I'd be pretty sure in Riddler being Atum or Riley. With my slight town read of Atum I put Riley here.

If Riddler guessed incorrectly though IMO it would be either you or Rubicon probably. I'd really only put about 25% stock in this but as play goes on if Riddler starts getting right guesses this would inverse.

Or sucks at guessing roles. As I've mentioned a few times, that isn't an area I excel in but I, at least, have struggled to get any insights out of all the crumbing that has been blatantly going on. I haven't been looking for it, but I can understand a Riddler not getting it.


I may read them at some stage. But when ones like CYS have been spoiled, and older ones have less relevance, I'm disinclined to do so - the bigger factor, of course is the sheer size of them. Besides, I'm not sure I'll stick around here, yet.

I can see people thinking it illegal, perhaps, but not scummy.

 

I'm not asking it because of ~that~. I'm trying to figure out why people think it's scummy for Lyr to ask a question like that because to me it's not scummy, but in fact a bit townish to ask something like that.

Oh. I guess he didn't say scummy, but when he said weird I jumped to assume scummy and not possibly the illegal part of it.

 

IMO it is possible I could suck at guessing roles but more than likely I think I have enough to form a town block which I know Mala hates but makes sense. If she were in my shoes I doubt she'd vote for my town reads either. Just can't explain ugh.

 

But do you usually form town blocks...?

 

This board is about 90 degrees west of MS. I know that makes no sense but some things on MS that are scummy are town here and vice versa and some in the middle. This board has a different meta and FS has a different one than MS.
