Remind me of your read on them again?

Atum's holding his own against Titus but I'm not sure if I like them all too much. It feels. Easy? Blasé? It's just him dropping in when someone mentions "Atum" and "scum" in the same post.

Hi Atum. I wish you weren't dead to me.

    What about them?

I'm going to not comment on that considering my fail history of trying to figure out Mylo/Lylo in games and fucking up numbers.

Stop it, I'll blush. And you'll give Mala unreasonable expectations of my competence. I feel guilty for having a slow start but that's about it.

Ready, set, scumhunt, huh? Fine, gimme a bit to organize.

^ that's directed at Lyr btw.

    titus is most def scum.
    Atum is kinda leaning town.
I'm waffling on Math, but I think she's town, but will be confirmed town if Titus flips scum.

I dunno, maybe it's simply that I really do suck at reading Atum. I can just never know for sure until I've killed him and examined his soul or lack thereof.

There are just so many duos breaking out here that are dominating the game -- MathBlade/Titus, Lyrium/TerRaine, Q/everyone else. It's exhausting.

I also respond to 'here, boy' and 'fetch.' It's Pavlovian, sue me.

Why would I be dead, I'm young and healthy and active after all. You mean you wish you didn't have to kill me?

I want to know everything about them. Predicted alignment, reasoning, thoughts on their thoughts, etc. Gimme a peak into the lofty purple clouds of your mind. Or just vote Titus, that would be super helpful.

For the numbers, they look about right, assuming that all night kills go through and that the Riddler never successfully names anyone.

Also, putting my reads on three players out there:
    Citrus: leaning scum
    Lyrium: leaning town
    Atum: leaning town

Rubicon is a neat little townread. He and I have had the same reads nearly all game, which could be a sign of us viewing the game from the same perspective/alignment/looking glass.

I could see Titus being scum, but again, no strong feelings. She hasn't exploded into a ball of rage over her perceived unjustified wagon on her like she did last game, I don't know if that's significantly relevant.

Citrus is really quiet and the only thing I can remember him doing this game is arguing for scum!Titus with TerRaine, which was a very recent thing he did. Everything before that point is sort of a blurry blank.

    Yeah.

Not even a little bit. They make it easy for scum to push for a lynch because ~*information*~.

I see you trying to butter me up, Atum. Too little too late. I will see Gotham purged of your presence.

It's cuz of my charming personality and disarming wit. Also I'm town and we can't really afford to mislynch me, I'm important.

You and I must have different definitions of scumhunting. Mine involves ISO'ing and quotations and citations and accusations and remonstration and demonstrations of unmet expectations culminating in elaborations, protestations, and finally condemnation.

But tell me what you were expecting.

Well, it seems a Rubicon lynch isn't going to happen today.

Well, basically you go through a given scumread's ISO, and go to each individual post looking for a few key elements: context, content, intent, and interactions. Some posts will support your conclusion. Some will not.

What I like to do is post the posts that stick out to me in any of those fields, preferably multiple. I typically summarize the post itself, and my analysis of it, sometimes offering conclusions. Then, when I'm satisfied or mind-numbed enough to stop, I cap it all off with a snappy intro and write up conclusory statements before fixing it up with colors and bolding and links.

Next, I ask any relevant questions that may have come up during my exhaustive trawl through the thread. This entire process may take anywhere from half an hour to 3 or 4 or 5. Not including breaks or real life or epiphanies. Hence my confusion at your poking.

    Am I doing it wrong?
