I feel like pointing out that Hagrid has a Kingdra, and that Pokemon master Hagrid to be written.

 

I've always pictured every hiker in the game to be Hagrid, since the sprite is always of a large, bearded mountain man

 

Hmm.. the first time I read HP1 is the first time I played Yellow... interesting coincidence.

 

I'd greatly appreciate it if someone could write a Hagrid the Pokemon Trainer fic a la GoC. Cause you know he either wouldn't twig onto or wouldn't agree with pokeballs, and would insist on doing all his training 'hands on'.

I can see Hagrid doing pretty well for himself as a trainer, with his Magickarp starter 'Norbert' at his side. Or perhaps his Growlithe, 'Fluffy'. Or his Spinarak, 'Aragog'.

 

Pfft, Houndour for Fluffy. Fits the hellhound theme better. Alternately, Deino. You know why.

 

I debated Houndour vs Growlithe, but I like Arcanine better than Houndoom. However....

...the fuck is a Deino?

 

Eventually a Deino becomes a Hydreigon.

 

I can sort of picture him just being a pure dragon trainer and living his childhood dreams, but I could also see him getting Onyx and Gyarados because they are 'cuddly'
