I'm fairly certain if there does exist a Ressurection spell for him to learn it would be imposed with a time limit like most other games. Something like 5 minutes or less otherwise their spirit is gone and cant be brought back to the body anymore.

Still disappointed at the lack of seeing Han do quests. I'm sure we'll see more of it in the Abyss but its been like 70 chapters almost, and still only saw him do 2 quests in the same chapter near the beginning. Tired of seeing these chapters centered on him worrying about school. Like fucking come on, if you have powers like that who the fuck would give a single shit about school. Specially when he already made like 10 million won or w/e the fuck from the zombies.

 

And how exactly does he grind that? Ask his friend to let him kill him so that he can practice his resurrection skill? Wait till someone jumps him again and kill and revive them constantly?

The reason he cares about school is because he doesn't want to disappoint his mother. Thus he can either tell his mother about his powers, study and do well, or tell her to piss off. It's not like it takes him that much effort to study given his hax abilities.

 

It's not about how much effort it takes him or not. He can easily memorize shit thanks to his int. Its a waste of fucking chapters is my point. The manga has enough pacing issues, we don't need to repeatedly keep seeing huge chunks of chapters being him theorycrafting on how fast he can finish his studying up.

This is like the 3rd chapter we've seen him discussing memorizing shit for his tests. It's getting redundant. This isn't even counting the chapters where he's actually in/going to school either. Which those I understand serve a "rest period" purpose.

As for how to grind Ress spell, there's no reason he couldn't use it on an animal i don't think. Or maybe on his summons even.

 

It was like two pages. Hardly what I'd call a huge chunk.

Gnome is just a spirit in an earth body. Probably couldn't kill her and if he did he might break the contract. Killing and reviving an animal constantly still seems pretty douchy.

 

Is it just me or did it feel like Jee-han broke the fourth wall when he was saying "And maybe you know too". Also first black character appeared. Taking bets he dies first next chapter.

All in all a decent setup chapter to show Han Jee-han's growth, though particularly cringe worthy with the compliments to his wisdom as it isn't like he made any shatteringly amazing insights or anything.

Looking forward to him joining the witch and the druid in the upcoming fights though.

I'm actually really hoping that the black guy dies. If the protagonist is okay with killing people, the series just got a lot more interesting, especially with the twisted reasoning he's using.

 

Not much has happened in the story it feels like...but if the writer is letting it drag intentionally as a writing method to give off the "grinding feel" to the readers then I have a lot of hope for this. If the protagonist acts on this reasoning...we have a story that could get really dark really quickly. Turning this into less of a fun grind and more of a psychological thriller. I'm intrigued.

Isn't that the point? I took it as like a meta joke. Since wisdom is her lowest stat and he just raised his wisdom. So it's not that he's actually wise it's just even basic insight is wise to her.
