Rubicon, the problem with betraying one promise is that it changes things in a way that you can never take back. Like the day Snowvon fake promises or uses /tentownies for a lie that is the day the dynamic changes forever.

Heres my answer: NO

Nowhere does it state in his role card on the OP that his ability is day oriented. So unless if kalas says otherwise, I am ruling that Deadman's ability only works at night

Every other night-only town ability says "every night" in the role description. Deadman says nothing about night.

Riddler says "at any point in the game" which is more specific, but similar to "once per game".
