Patience is your friend, my...er, friend.

    Yes. One-Shot Seer.

To begin, the fact that the arguments against for the other two were/seemed (Mala/Lucky respectively) and that Fluff hadn't done anything that particularly warranted that sudden shift - I brought up earlier how weak his points were, but there's a reason I stuck with my vote where it was: Last game, fluff also started in a similar vein and got better as time went on.

    Rubicon what happened from this,
    To these,
The first two are literally back-to-back posts from you and the third came after a few that didn't give any significant info. Walk me through your process.

I feel like you're trying to bait me somehow - Cop IS Seer, what's your point?

It's a different word Sloth. Cop's the common usage. So, why did Lucky use "seer"?

And why didn't you realize that he used seer?

I realize he was using Seer, though given that I can't prove it, this feels like it's heading to a pointless argument - so here's the end of it:

I read Seer. I thought Cop.
Name a game where the Cop has had the NAME Cop.
It's either Dresden, or Seer, or Gravedigger, Nightwing, Robin, Tracer, etc.
All of those just mean Cop to me.

    That's about it.

Other people did the similar thing, including you in a way. Well Delphi voted me for taking me too seriously, you voteparked on me until the end. I still have zero clue why sloth and atum voted me D:

    Every normal mafia game?

Are you seriously arguing that you don't get the point of my argument? I think it's far more likely that you heard the term "cop" tossed around in scumchat and went in with that assumption.

Why would scum be using the word Cop and not seer?

So does that mean Rubicons scum?

    And Math

    And Waco

I don't think Lucky using Seer instead of cop is any great town tell. The flavor of the game seems to be werewolf and seer is the term that is commonly used when it comes to that flavor....not cop

It appears I have yet to play 'every normal mafia game' then.

Far more likely as opposed to that, exactly?

You do realize that in 1397 my comments indicated I had just finished catching up on reading the game? And then I went on to engage relevant posts I had picked up as I went along? Basically you're saying I'm making comments that clearly indicate I've been reading the game...without reading the game.

Let's also toss in the idea that others have referred to Lee's role as 'cop' in the forum too, so I guess I couldn't have picked it up from there?
Yeah, I honestly don't get your point. How about you address mine too?

I don't feel bad about it as it eliminates part of my potential scum pool.

This really isn't that hard to understand.

Seer is a synonym of cop, the same way vanilla is a synonym of townie. One-shot seer is an entirely different role, and cannot, rightly, be called a full cop at all.

You claimed that Lucky claimed cop (which he did not) and that it's a very common role in mafia games (which it is). Lucky actually claimed one-shot (something much less common, and potentially not something that Q's used to) and Seer (which is used in very specific werewolf games).

I looked it up, and there are one-shots in old games that Q's modded, and Seer is also a role that he used. Lucky could have gotten, well, lucky in guessing these things, but I doubt he looked them up, so we let him live a Day, give a check, and explain why he didn't die over the Night. Or, scum shoot him, and that problem's resolved.

There was a discussion on why this makes sense in the thread, a discussion that you apparently missed, while still knowing that Lucky claimed cop abilities. Do you get why that doesn't make sense, Slothful?
