Very well, I'll concede. I still mantain my point but I can't completely explain what I mean by writing so w/e

As to Nathan being an Horcrux, of course he is. It makes me wonder though, if that fact will come to light sooner? I'd say Harry will eventually find out about Horcruxes, do you guys think he has enough intelligence and information on what's going on with Nathan to make the connection, or not really?

Well on the rarity of Horcrux books...

And the hallows, who will control them?

Will it be the heir to the Potter line or will be his yonder brother, the hocrux?

Going by canon, only someone like Nathan in this story could complete the Hallows. Canon Harry did it, mostly by virtue of plot armour, and yet he still showed a lot of maturity in book 7. He was not afraid of death, he had strong friendships and loved. All the things Riddle lacked.

Since Nathan was moulded after canon Harry I don't see a reason why he shouldn't get a go at the Hallows. It could even be a point of contention between the twins. Like the patronus thing (I loved that by the way, Santi). Canon Harry had his strengths, let Nathan have them as well.

My assumption of that scene was that Nathan was rationalizing after seeing Harry practice the Golem ritual. Here is the part from the story:

"Carefully looking through a kitchen window, he let out a slight relieved breath when he saw it was only his brother sitting at the kitchen table drinking a glass of pumpkin juice.

Making his way to the back door, Harry cast a Notice-Me-Not charm, and slowly crept inside.

Walking past the kitchen, Harry heard the slight scraping of one of his family's wooden chairs against the wood floor. Pausing slightly, Harry leaned in to the kitchen when he heard his brother say something.

“...ust a dream. Yeah, nothing to worry about. Probably shouldn't eat chocolate that late again.”

Scowling at his brother's stupid reason for being up so late, Harry immediately made his way back upstairs and into his room.

He never saw his pale and frightened brother follow him up the stairs a few minutes later."

Uhhhh... what? I don't get it... The golem ritual took place way back from the house and was protected by many spells. Nathan was obviously referencing the scene from the books, with Pettigrew, Voldemort, Frank Bryce and Nagini. Considering how closely this story followed canon in the past it would be my best bet.

THe wand and cloak while potnetially powerful, the stone brings back shades of the dead, clearly the darkest item. Harry is a very academic person, he would the stone to find answers to tons of question, and question magous and brillant magic users. I wonder if mind magic works on the shades, they are not the real people, but say their memories of their whole life. The secrets of legendary figures all the way though recorded history. If flamel is now dead, he could be compeeled to share the secrets of alchemy.

I was happy to see this updated. I felt it moved faster than usual, but was no less great for it.

Krum's break-up was a long time coming, I think. Krum/Hermione on the other hand, apart from being cannon, seemingly came out of the blue. Not that it made more sense in cannon.

I like Harry and Calypso together. At least, I cannot imagine either with anyone else. Still, Harry doesn't seem to like her as much as she does him and the romance has been slow moving, but I'm hoping that'll be amended in the future.

I don't understand why Harry cares about his brother so much. They were close as children and they are brothers, but does that really excuse Harry expending all that energy to ensure Nathan's continued survival? I assume I'm missing something.

Mentor!Gellert, in some fashion, particularly after his amusing first appearance sounds like a fun idea. Albus would've kittens if he found out and I do love a good Dark Lord Potter. (I know, kill me now.) Dark Lady Calypso sounds fitting too.

I think everyone's getting a little too hung up on the Krum/Hermione thing. In canon it appeared as though a few study sessions and the Yule Ball was the extent of their interactions, she never did go visit him in Bulgaria. I don't see why it would be different here, Krum is infatuated with Hermione because she's everything Kira isn't; she's calm and non-confrontational. I think this was more about creating a real enemy for Harry/Calypso/Krum at Durmstrang; Kira knows their secrets. I bet Hermione is around for year four but not long after.

Did that guy really just say he doesn't understand why a person would put in an effort so that a direct family member doesn't die screaming?

    yup.

I agree. (Though I don't see Hermione as calm nor non-confrontational.)
    They are teenagers.

I do think that Harry/Calypso/Krum (who I shall going forward to be referring to as 'HaCK' or 'HaCKr's from now on) need more people to conflict with at Hogwarts than just Draco. So yeah. I'm glad for the breakup.

Do you understand what death is?

Now on to other points, Harry isn't evil here. He isn't even really dark, unless just the usage of dark magic defines a dark wizard, he simply finds magic of all kinds interesting and endeavors to excel in all of it. Fawkes' attitude towards him is testament to the fact that he is very apparently a good person. He still holds all of his parents values (aside from dark magic) and there has been absolutely no inclination for him to suddenly turn into a murdering psychopath. The doberman transformation affirmed this. Go back and read it.

In all honesty it would ruin a major part of what makes this fic great if he were to turn evil. He even managed to essentially turn Calypso away from her father.

Now on that note, why on earth he would go to Gellert Grindlewald for instruction is beyond me, when he has a man he is close enough to consider a grandfather, who was Gridlewald's equal fifty years ago, to learn from. The man is imprisoned, half dead, and nearly everyone in Harry's life detests him, including Harry's best friend.

    Excellent stuff Santi.

I think though Harry is certainly a good person, he's still dark - his ability to use the crucio and lashing out with his anger upon those poor toads makes me think he'd qualify quite effectively. I can't imagine him becoming like Voldemort or Grindelwald, he's too human for that. You don't have to be a psycho to be dark - but he's definitely not light or even all that gray at this point.

Agree with everything but the bold part. How can Kira be a real enemy? I think at this point Harry or Calypso can easily defeat her in a duel. Besides what secrets does she really know? That they are animagi sure but it's not a crime to be one. That they practice advanced Dark Arts but it is a part of Durmstrang curriculum. Anything else?

Kira will be bitchy that's for sure but not a real enemy.

Once Victor finishes the school, i want to see Kira switch gears and try to seduce Harry just to piss Calypso off.

    Edit:

Just clearing my idea a little here. By "seduce", i don't really mean seduce seduce as in Kira trying to get Harry into bed.

Here is the thing. From what i've understood, Harry has nothing against Kira, not really. Most of the hate is from her side. However, her being friendlier with Harry and cosying up to him, would definitely piss Calypso off.

In hindsight, i probably should have picked another word. I can see where the misunderstanding came from. Feel free to correct me if i am wrong with the dynamics of Harry/Kira near none-existent relationship.

    This would be hilarious.
    Also, unlikely to work.
Probably even more funny for that reason. This should happen.

Wat? This would utterly break Kira's character, and be a sad sad arc in the story. She looks down upon Harry, despite his achievements. In addition, she's a bitch towards the two of them. They're Krum's friends, not hers. They hang out with her because of Krum, not the other way around. Why the fuck would she want to or try to seduce Harry? How does it help her at all? Fucking the resident prodigy doesn't really get you anywhere much. This is Kira we're talking about, not Calypso, who seems to actually have fallen for Harry. And Harry, while he does find Kira kinda hot, having seen her in her underwear, has the propensity to think with the head on his shoulders, not the one between his legs.

There's a difference between a serious "I'm going to bang Harry" and doing it to piss off Calypso by subtly suggesting something once while eating. It would be better if you read what people said instead of trying to ask what they already stated. Why? To get at Calypso and Krum. Arguing that it won't work is pointless - nobody expects it to. It'd just be a funny piece of dialogue. And hell, it wouldn't break Kira's character - we've already seen she'll descend to low blows and off hand comments to get at people, look at how she'd comment on Calypso before Harry knew she was a Rosier, and before he knew about the marriage contract. And saying it would be an arc? Someone saying something once or twice in a scene to comedic effect is by no means a character arc.
