I didn't say you grabbed it because words sound cool...I said it looks like you skimmed hence you don't see that Rubicon wasn't talking about me...you don't realize I didn't have one point against fonti and my first post you claim is scum frustration is addressed a few posts later.

I mean I understand that I'm very likely misreading someone. Sloth, Citrus, TerRaine and MathBlade are all more leaning town than straight townreads. I can see the case on MathBlade but it looked more like RL frustration and a communication error about the swearing than scummy posting.

The only reads I'm secure in enough not to vote for the foreseeable future are you, fonti, and and Luckylee.

 

fontisian: He's playing like his recent MS scum games. His vote pattern is to copy his votes from BatMafia. Guess who he suspected then? his fluffiness and Atum. Guess who he suspects this time? his fluffiness and Atum. He's made no case against either of them. I asked for his reads with reasons and got vague and weak reasons for his town reads and nothing to explain his scum reads except PoE. So, I think the burden is on him (or you) to explain why he should not be lynched.

 

Wellp, I remember when typing that post I found a quote that just looked mega scummy, but I can't find it because the only 2 significant posts before I made that post weren't it.

I have not seen that post by Ter on Font til now, I've been keeping up with the thread with my phone and I think I made that post on my laptop then went to the next page on my phone later in the day. I didn't see the post by Font at the end of that page either I think because I don't remember it.

That said, it still feels a ton weaker than what I'd expect for a case by Ter. Like in the batmafia game I got a full wall with quotes and all against me, and then she wants to lynch Fontisian when a significant number of players townread her and her case is just...lacking? Like of all people lynchable for scum, she chooses to kinda push on one of the few people in the game that are widely townread/hard to lynch in general

 

(And he was wrong about both of those people. We both were. But he isn't trying to adjust based on that, to ask whether he's making the same mistake this time. That doesn't feel like a town reaction.)

I'd think something was really odd about so many people solo-pushing on someone with a few people town-reading them, but it seems I'm doing that too.

Like, I didn't vote his fluffiness for kicks. He was lurking a lot more than in Batmafia, and when he did post, they were barely anything.

I think after this game I'm just going to give up on Atum and let him get lynched or shot or endgame'd or whatever destiny has in store for him.

Questionably 20% is not a good rate. Also cleared Titus doing that. I had a TERRIBLE conf bias problem as town. So I'm choosing not to fixate here and take what jumps out at me as scummy.

Uh. Can you actually tell me which game? Because the one I'm thinking of probably isn't what you're thinking of. The last one I linked you to was my first scumgame, wasn't it? And that was quite a while ago.

It really isn't. I find it funny.

The actual answer is yes. I've taken to townhunting and lynching the leftovers recently to see if it's easier than scumhunting, and so far no dice.

 

His case on me is easily dismantled and shows he's not reading the game.

His case hung on 3 points.

His first was to say my post regarding synonyms was "Scum frustration" but he either ignores or doesn't seem to notice I have several posts after that which explain the reasoning why I dont think the cop vs Seer terms are a good scum tell or town tell.

His second was to say I only had 1 point against Fonti when I actually had several.

His third was a quote from Rubicon to Fonti about Waco. He seems to think this post was referencing me and if he was reading the thread on a whole he'd have known it wasn't.

 

Rubicon: I don't have the patience to search for the more compelling stuff without the iso feature, so let's look at this:

He's calm, sticking to his stances, and not trying to distract with fluff. This is how town!Von acts under pressure.

Citrus and TerRaine: Please stop. Maybe vote in Math, Sloth, Waco and Atum instead?

 

The only person with tangible scumminess I can point to is MathBlade and her overdefensiveness, and that's kind of laced with RL frustration so I don't really feel comfortable pursuing that. And I'm waiting for Ter to clarify what her thing on Citrus is because all I got out of that exchange was that something was misquoted.
