If I would have to nominate anything, I would go with Clell's and most of the guys from fanficauthors. There are just so many of them. Jeconais, Clell, Bobmin and tons and tons of others (I even include JBern on that list).

Apart from them... I would go with Darth Marrs. He is the epitome of good writing gone bad and still has the promise that makes you waiting for some more... and waiting... and waiting... .... ...

I've... read through it three times. It cheered me up when I thought several of my chapters were utter crap.

 

For the record, being better than My Immortal isn't a guarantee of not being utter crap.

 

That's setting the bar rather low.

 

Rise of the wizards. I've read it 4 times, and I have absolutely no idea why. I don't even enjoy it that much.

 

Harry Potter And The Kaleidoscope of magic, Fuck that thing

 

Showed that one to a friend of mine who studies english. By the end of chapter 3 she just sat there, a mix of apathy, revulsion and pure hatred etched on her face. I ran away before she could murder me. Good times...

 

Oh come on, My Immortal is the best fic to re-read. It never gets old, just funnier because you notice some amusing things you missed the last time because you were laughing too much.

I'd go as far as to say that My Immortal is a more emotional story than canon. Emotional because it makes me laugh like a maniac, whereas canon barely made me chuckle and didn't make me cry (unlike MI, which makes me cry tears of laughter).

 

Anything Bobmin wrote. Full of cliches such as SuperDuperEvil!Dumbledore, Evil!Weasleys, Indy!Super!Harry, a complete asspull to break Hermione off Ron to Harry and the list goes on. I re-read that , cause I forgot, what a big piece of shit they are.

 

I dislike Naruto, since at least Jiraya’s death, but for some reason I decided to read a fic. So I came across a fic where the Kyuubi is a 13yo mostly retarded and cry-baby naked girl with fox-girl features and was just “CHASING MAH TAIL!!!11!!!”.

With all due respect I will NEVER stop liking Hope. I know it's the original cheesy quintessential Jeconais fic with so much fluff it gave me diabetes but whenever I need cheering up I can count on going back to it. It's a feel good fic, a little like This Means War which I reread just for the Mmails but Hope is better written for me.

I reread Make A Wish so many times, it's a great humor fic, and when I go back to it I keep seeing so many flaws but goddamn isn't it worth going through all of it and laughing again. More to do the nostalgia cause it reminds me when I read at like 14, one of the most carefree periods of my life.

Also snuggled many nights up rereading and crying to Lord of Caer Azkaban when I was younger.

 

I started reading that fic several times... but the tail chasing...ugh
