Yeah these new characters with bullshit abilities that don't end up mattering are sooooooooo interesting. Kappa.

 

More interesting than Ichigo. At least the royal guard. I also didn't care to watch Rukia, Renji, or Fox guy's fights. Mayuri and Zaraki are always entertaining.

 

I found Komamura's human technique to be very interesting, I hope we get more techniques like that from the soul king or someone.

I zoned out during the tranny vampire stuff though.

 

Is it just me or the way Kubo ended the chapter was meant to be like some huge reveal of a crafty twist cliffhanger ending? I mean it was only about the most obvious 'secret' in all of Bleach lol.

Also Ichibei, what the fuck was up with that? I had to apply ice to my nose with how hard i facepalmed.

 

I doubt that the king is dead if he is well... I hope I'm sitting when that happens. Also I can't help thinking about what Ichibe said a while ago about the Oken as well as the reveal about Asauchi. I think the Shinigami are a part of the king's reitsu so why should they die/disappear unless he wills it.

 

The Ichibei thing did at least provide the one good moment of the chapter, when Ichigo called him out on that being total BS.

 

I've seen a few people predict the Soul King Yhwach stabbed is one of Kisuke's portable gigai. I would find that hilarious.

 

I don't think its quite like that since he also said Hueco Mundo/the Living world would fade into oblivion along with everything else.

 

Since when have reality altering powers not been complete BS? Inoue has already shown that she can raise the dead.

 

What? No she hasn't. If you're referring to Ichigo, she definitely was not able to resurrect him.

 

She resurrected Menoly who was killed by Grimmjow.

 

I don't think Menoly was dead. Merely dying. Correct me if i'm wrong but every hollow/arrancar that dies(on screen) their body evaporates yes? So given that Menoly's body, while the top half was pretty much blown to smitherines, technically wasn't dead yet, just very very close to dying, minutes away even.

The manga never said she died either. Only that Orihime is the reason she's still alive.

 

Seeing as hollows eat each other I don't think that logic is very solid.

Like what? Isn't this the same mother fucker who was shit talking Bach like he was a xbox kiddie? Get's his ass beat and now he's all emo mode. What was the point of bringing him back to life if he was just gonna be all doom and gloom.

 

The sad thing is, a chapter where you need to read the first 3 pages and last 3 pages in order to know what's going on is actually doing pretty good for Bleach. Considering how you can often sum up multi-chapter fights as "Two characters we don't care about with weird powers explain how their weird powers work, then one dies."

 

the best part of bleach in the last 50 chapters or so is the random humor just thrown in, like Renji wanting to bro out with the quincy who complimented his tattoos, or in this chapter Soifon giving Yoruichi's little brother pocket change becuase hes too cute.

Those are the only bits that keep me reading, outside of the train wreck effect.
