Why on earth would you want to watch it period?

 

Thought the same thing, but I dont have the right to question his tastes

 

After following the manga to the end, watching the movie will close up some loose ends. While I won't watch the theater rip but I'll definitely watch the subbed version when it's released. My question to the haters of this movie is; Why did you continue to follow the manga if you thought it was shit?

 

Sounds like a NaruHina (can't believe I just used that term) wankfest to me. But I try not to judge.

The manga was fine, despite what it ended up being eventually. I have a problem with all the movies and the fillers. Its the reason I stopped watching the anime.

 

I did say I 'try' not to judge. You're right I failed.... miserably I might add. I'm quite certain its a personality flaw.

You can call it personal, I like to believe my distaste for the pairing is logical. Why the pairing makes no sense deserves an entire thread but I'll keep it short.
Naruto isn't a love story. He married Hinata..... Wohoo.. good for him. He had a kid with her..... well.... even better. Resolution was good so far. I had my problems with it. But hey its not my story.
But noooo..... Kishi decides there wasn't enough romance in the story, so after failing to do what he'd had 700 odd chapters to do he manufactures another doomsday villain to tie-up that loose end. Because that's what a love story needs. A villain bent on destroying the world.
Makes sense????

BTW this isn't a spoiler. I'm only making assumptions here based on the interview Kishi gave regarding the movie, so don't jump down my throat if I'm right.

I don't have a problem with canon pairings. It's not a series which focuses on romance, so while this pairing didn't make any sense to me whatsoever I lost no sleep over it. In my opinion romantic resolution was the least of Naruto's problems.

Its a question that needs to be asked.

Does Naruto really need a movie to resolve the romance?

Jury is out on that. You know where I stand on the issue.

 

Well, it wasn't really Kishimoto's idea. He hadn't thought much about the love story between them as he hadn't intended to describe it. It was the director and screenplay writer who came up with the romance movie.

 

Personally, I'd like even more movies based on the Naruto/Hinata pairing, if you please.

The tears of the haters will only make watching it that much more rewarding.
