So I binged all of this last night, was a fun read so far (chapter 71). That said, a large portion of it has just been grinding and explaining the results of said grind with the occasional plot point thrown in here and there. I like how the MC is pretty darn strong now.

At some points though it reads like one of those old-school naruto fan fictions where the author has come up with all these terms and ranking systems and stuff and occasionally forgets about them. Makes it a little bit confusing. The fact that it's all in colour is wicked, kicking myself for not ever reading a manhwa before.

 

The translations...made this chapter almost not enjoyable at all. Lolikeaonu? Memes? Get that tumblr bullshit out of my manga kthx. The A/N reference to WoW's Chogall was slightly funny though, if a bit out of place.

Though I did lol just a little bit at the demon lord opening portals so Hell could have internet to play games. Him and Han Jee Han should get along famously. Was a bit disappointed not much happened, though seems to be setting up for some good party action in the next chapter or so.

 

Oh god, the translation was terrible. Google translate level.

But yeah, party time next chapter is gonna be fun-fun. That ability is indeed so broken.

I like how easily they got in contact and didn't have to fight the protections.

Honestly didn't expect much from this chapter based off last chapter. I already knew the action wouldn't start till the now next chapter.

Also is it just me or is the whole harem setting up slightly annoying to anyone else? I mean, i like my light hearted moments in manga just as everyone else, and the whole perverted thing with Meliodas in 7 Deadly Sins is actually funny, but first the black soul chick went on a date, then the witch of carnage kissing him(which i totally dig the two of them together cause both mages c'mon), now the red haired chick wanted a date and is super jelly atm.

It seems...too forced? Idk.

 

I think it's just you. This is normal shounen stuff.

 

I'd prefer if the author just picked a girl and actually ran with developing a relationship instead of doing empty harem shenanigans, but it's not something unexpected.

 

Man, EatManga pissed me off, got me excited cause they showed 2 chapters but 1 was the last one released plus 1 new one. Regardless, we got a new chapter today.

Got some skirmishes underway, nothing to crazy though, I expect that to change next chapter though.

 

It seems to me like Jee Han has no business whatsoever being around this battle right now. Not sure how he's going to contribute anything without getting skullfucked.

 

Say wha? He's pretty overpowered dude. He took out those other dudes during the fight with the golem rock mages by himself with pretty much ease and that was before he got a bunch of new spells and leveled up a bit.

While he may not be able to solo these 2 newcomers that are fighting the Witch of Carnages devils, he's not so outclassed that he outright doesn't have a place in the battlefield.

Honestly I feel Han Jee Han and the soul flame chick could probably take 1 of those stronger guys 2 on 1. Which very well might just end up happening since doesn't seem like her devils are gonna be about to come out on top against them based on what they were saying.

 

New chapter is out. 1 of the new comers seems to be going down for the count while the other one is looking to even the score.

 

Of course, the other one appears to be a cyborg of some kind. Which means composed of metal. Which means Berith will instarape him the moment he gets over there.

I wonder what's coming behind these two guys? I assume some stronger foe will, unless the entire point of this exercise is to show what some of the real monsters of the abyss world are like. I stand by what I said earlier about Jee Han relative to these folks at the moment. He'd do best to just sit back and watch.

 

I'm happy that one got raped as badly as he did considering how cocky he was, but I'm pretty sure he's gonna make a comeback.

 

Honestly, what i thought initially happened to him was Berith used the tiny amounts of Iron in his bloodstream to attack his heart on some Magneto-level shit and i was like "OOOOOOOOHHHH" but then i realized it was just a pin he had on his chest and was like...oh so he was retarded then.

Honestly I don't see him making a come back as i'm pretty sure, as much bravado as they were talking and hyped up to be, they're probably small fry in comparison to whats to come in trying to get the Black Soul.
