What we saw in that episode is in line with the comics in how the Speed Force can be manipulated. Two pretty good episodes so far. I wish Ronnie would stay dead so that the Caitlyn/Barry ship could have some hope, but alas.

 

I think Ronnie's gonna be more and more important as the show goes on. I think that he's gonna join Team Flash, as at some point they'll need to replace Wells and (maybe) Caitlin.

It looks like Linda Park is being introduced next episode and hits it off with Barry. All I can see on comments on articles and reddit talking about it is people moaning about how this will throw off Wally West or something, but I'm very much okay with it because 1) the TV show doesn't necessarily have to follow the comics' particulars; 2) if they do feel compelled in some ways to follow the comics, Caitlin might not stick around in Team Flash, and 3) Linda is someone who fits the criteria of being not Iris.

 

It's got more than you'd think, even after introducing Linda I don't think they could have possibly pointed to Barry/Caitlin harder or more overtly than they did tonight without a guy in the background holding up signs that said "FUTURE ROMANCE HERE" with arrows pointing to Barry and Caitlin.

 

That "after credits" scene though...

Even with this episode, I think the best we can hope for is an episode where the ship is explored and in the end we are given a bullshit reason why it can't happen.

Something a few steps above what happened with Barry and Felicity(?).

Barry/Caitlin will probably be the pairing in the future, maybe beginning of season 2? I dont see Iris/Barry happening till late s2/s3 at the earliest tbh. Although she seems to slightly jealous at the end there.

Linda was pretty awesome from what we briefly saw.

And Barry's Dad is a better detective than Lance.

 

Yeah.I knew they were planning on using him, but I thought they'd wait a season.

 

Just hoping it won't end up another Felicity. Her parts were kind of a struggle to get through the last few episodes.

 

I think they are doing it purpose. It seems they want people to jump ship off the Felicity/Oliver bandwagon, and the best way to do that is make her act like the way she has been acting.

 

I'd rather Barry/Caitlin be drinking buddies than an actually relationship.

No, I was a fan of Barry/Linda as well. She's cute and happy and interested in Barry. Will be interesting to see how that goes.

 

I thought the whole nod to Grant Gustin's Glee background was pretty humorous.

I really think the whole semi-sibling thing is weird though.

 

Her normal bitchy self these past few episodes after Barry confessed to her his feelings.

 

Future Barry was obviously the second Speedster. Can't be wells because the blood didn't match his. Well unless he gave out fake blood.

Busy episode though, could have used less romance more origins story but I liked the scene where Barry starts vibrating.

Also can people really just walk into someone's workplace all willy nilly like that?
