Also, we mentioned this in jest earlier and thought that was the end of that, but apparently not so:
    No Coded Messages.

It's not outlined in the rules explicitly, so that's our bad, but there are certain rules in the site that sorta just go unspoken in every game.
Sorry about the confusion, carry on.

I have pretty much lost touch with this game and don't have much idea of what to do now. I'm just going to sort through players I'm feeling shaky on.

Ok, then I guess the hobbies thing is irrelevant. :S I'll stop. I need to find a new method of crumbing. The problem is I fucking suck at it. I figured it was not a code. :(

Any player/action that works against their wincon.

    Also, candy grams.

The whole "can 3P win with town?" thing is confusing.

Town needs to eliminate all threats, but one of the 3P's publicly displayed wincons is to simply be alive at endgame. They can't kill. Are they still a threat simply because they aren't town? But they also "win all stalemates" except against the other 3P. Stalemate implies neither a win or a loss.

    bleh blah bluh

So, barring any bastard mechanics, town should be able to win with that one 3P guy whose name I can't be bothered to remember. The Wizard of Az.

Actually I'm pretty sure I've only ever seen candy grams used against anti-town. :D

I don't see the dispute you talk of. I've provided post after post of evidence, while Poly doubtcasts.

Uh well amidst all this 3rd party shit and Titus claiming Bahamut whatever that is this is beginning to remind me of this game I remember somebody mentioning. Is it polarity hunt? Because based on in-game actions your polarity switches from bad to good and to neutral and shit.

Is this a case of some power that Titus gets to use every lynch e.g. She can alignment switch to check as town/3rd party/scum by info-roles? Because that is really really confusing and if that is the case is it merely a 'checks as alignment' power beneficial only to her or is it actually good for town?

My ability is one shot. My ability does not check alignments.

You hear about that shit in Oregon? Damn dude is crazy up there with the kickbacks.

Well I'm going to have to ask this even though I think this entire hidden role thing is confusing the heck out of me I can't even fall asleep on my bed.

Titus, if we don't lynch Polysemous and lynch Rubicon instead, would you use your Bahamut thingy which I am still guessing at on Rubicon?

---------- Post automerged at 01:48 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:47 PM ----------

Mods I hope Bahamut isn't coding but if it is I meant 'power' that Titus is referring to...?

Irene #659: The only reason Poly has been controversial is that he's let his few "reads" float which ever way the winds of public opinion have been at the time and scum slipped hard. Even that last post you say eased your mind was Poly repeated calling Riley scummy then town-reading him, while doubt-casting others in the process.

Bahamut was referring to my ability. I did originally use it as a code but it took on a life of its own so as long as I don't explain why the term Bahamutting is what I chose, I think we can still use it.

I would not. I would only use Bahamutting if an extreme townread of mine was lynched. I would rather wait.

First of all, if you think my town game is leaving my vote to stagnate on someone who isn't going to be lynched this close to deadline, you are just wrong, sorry.

I think Atum is scummy. Not everyone I think is scummy is actually scum. Sometimes I fall into confirmation bias and tunnel.

In BatMafia 2, I spent all of day one convinced that Sloth was scum and got him lynched. That was pretty standard for me, but was it smart?

I'm trying to be better. So yes, I listen when people I respect tell me I'm wrong.

Fair enough, given that it is one shot.

I am still pretty in the dark but I'll attribute it to it being 3am here and trot off to sleep.

The Waco Kid Hmmm, I wasn't so concerned with his read so much as I felt that his thought process was something I could see a townie having, so for the moment he is off the hook, that does not mean I put him among my townies list, just that I don't see voting for him yet. Also, I am interested in his reasoning for scum-reading me, so I'll wait around to see his scum reads.

Why are you feeling shaky on me?

    What's your Polysemous read?

---------- Post automerged at 11:12 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:09 AM ----------

    So vote him.

And Luckylee and Kento Kraitos as well: Time to put a vote down, please.

Because I don't feel like our brains are in SYNC. There's no one else I'd have rather mislynched Sloth with. I want those feelings again.

I've been 100% overlooking Poly this game so give me a little while to go through his posts.

    okay well let's sync up.

This is all I found for your reads. Do you have scumreads?

I colored in where I agree and disagree.

Titus is the weakest one for me. Because it's Titus and she could be third party. But I get a reaction test-y vibe from her posts that makes me think she's more likely town.

Every time I start reading blab's posts, though, I fall asleep because they lack any sizzle. See: his read wall.

And I also think he's showing a weird lack of paranoia about me after that first interaction at the start. Which contrasts with every other recent game I've played with him and makes me think he's trying not to poke me too hard. Why do you have him as town?

    Alsooo
Is it not extremely obvious I was still catching up on the thread after being away for a couple days taking exams? Like give me some vague amount amount of credit here Math.
