Y'know, a summary would help. For anyone who might not have read it.

 

New update, nothing much though

 

The art of One Punch Man is its biggest draw, with the second being the numerous, unique superheros.

 

Dont forget the comedy

 

When i first started this manga, i started it thinking "Okay, It's a manga about a dude that goes around 1 punching his enemies, i'll just read a few chapters, get a quick laugh and be on my way"

It was 3 hours later and i was 50 chapters deep and learned it was a monthly and cried. This manga acts like its a parody of shonen manga but it totally has so much more depth to it that i was surprised given...its a story about a dude who's too damn strong and ends all fights in 1 punch.

 

Don't forget to check out the original. The art was not exactly enticing, but it is the story that counts.

Apparently One-Punch Man is getting an anime adaption.

No word on which studio is gonna do it, though apparently Murata and ONE are involved.

 

Oh fuck yes , not too long ago I was thinking about how most manga I read get anime adaptations and then this happens. I'm really happy with life right now

 

How many issues are there? I just burned through all the ones I could find up to 'Accelerate'. There aren't any beyond that I can find online, but I've read reference to the defeat of villains who I've only just seen introduced.

Ah, nevermind. Just discovered I've been reading a remake of the original that has yet to catch up.

it's actually pretty funny so far

 

Read the new one and then continued with the old one.

Very enjoyable and a proof that you can have an overpowered supehero as the main character. It's just that you need to be a little more original with problems that he's facing when putting him against increasingly stronger opponents in not an option.

My only complain is that a remake is only halfway done and it will take two-three more years before it gets to a place where the original is right now. I wouldn't be surprised if Garou arc was done faster as an anime.

Any guesses about the identity of Blast? I would say it's someone taking credit for Saitama's actions if it was already done with other character, but I expect it to be a surprising revelation instead of completely new person.

 

Holy shit the original art is...not fantastic.

 

Yeah, as much as I want to find out what happens next in the story I'm probably not going to read the original. I'd rather experience the story with the art from the remake.

I just read this. My reading experience has been a combination of "what the fuck am I reading" along with "that's actually pretty interesting" and a hefty dosage of snickering.
