What's survivor and I want to play

 

In order to not clog this discussion thread anymore, I'll start a general interest thread when we have more of it put together. But, Survivor is exactly what it says. it's a Forum version the Reality Show Survivior, played via Forum, QTs and at times some outside web sources. If you wanna see past games, Zeit ran the first and second one before disappearing forever. They're in the archives.

 

Survivor? Yes, please. Count me /in whenever one is completed, gang.

 

Survivor would be fun if I had time and if people wouldn't go after me right away.

I could join the mod team if there's still a need. I would have pretty good availability and have seen like 25 seasons of the actual show, so <.<

MS has some survivor examples as well. Sometimes tribes will have private discussions and sometimes individuals will have private conversations. They used zetaboards to run theirs Just saying many different ways

Season 30 just premiered on Wednesday!

 

...I only watched the first one thinking "yeah, this was pretty awesome but there's no way it should keep going after this, it was a one time thing."

 

Wasn't there some controversy in the first season regarding a couple of the female contestants and a producer or some such? I think they were given food not collected from challenges/island.

 

I can't say I've cared about Survivor since like season 5. Have they had a challenge that's literally been to jump a shark yet?

 

Aw, so many thumbs ups.

I'm sure it objectively jumped the shark by S14 (if not earlier.) I started watching it when I was seven and have just never broken the habit.

 

How do you keep this formula going for 40 bloody seasons? How, Simpsons? How?

"Ok team Jumping Shark, today's challenge will be unique and amazing! Hot dog eating contest! Tune in at 5, America!"

Though I'm not really surprised to hear about that controversy.
