The question isn't solve the game this second, it's asking you for reads and opinions. As you've given virtually nothing so far, it's fair to think you're being scummy. We're over 200 posts in, it may be early, but there's certainly a decent amount of posts to work with.

Being out of RVS doesn't mean much. There's still nothing to work with on d1 but blind finger pointing and rhetoric. It's one big tiresome popularity contest.

The game doesn't even begin until d2/3 as far as I'm concerned.

it's day 1. Scum looks like town and town looks like scum. That's why town is typically lynched on day 1, for all the effort supposedly expended to prevent it.

I'm not saying that it isn't a necessary evil to begin the game. I'm just saying that it's a part of the game that never makes sense to me.

If that makes me scum, so be it. Lynch away.

And again, it's not like I'm advocating that everybody should take my approach.

This is an internal struggle that I'm dealing with, but I won't be pushed around to do shit that I don't feel comfortable with.

I'll come to grips with it on my own terms. The fact I'm not going to let you dictate my playstyle doesn't make me scum.

 

Pinky is fairly transparently town. The problem with calling him that is it encourages other people to emulate useless behavior in order to be townread, which is just gross. So, a little more effort please, Pinky?

You're not wrong, but all that effort town expends to lynch scum, the whole blind finger-pointing thing, is the main reason town has something to analyze by D2. Flips are good, but so is being able to look back to D1 and see who was pushing to lynch who.

Just because I think fontisian may be scum doesn't mean I should vote her on page 3. I read fontisian by her actions and the positions she takes, not by her reaction to pressure.

She pinged as scummy for ignoring Xanidel and Sloth at first and only poking at Plotless. Xanidel and Sloth seemed off to me (and still do, though in fairness Sloth always seems off), and I was looking for fontisian to pick up on the same things, not ignore them entirely.

Snowvon is someone I read by his reaction to pressure. So it is more interesting to vote him.
