Yes. Primarily in IRL games, where it's clearer from my disposition that I'm going for wine rather than trying to out the actual role. Or if I am the role I claimed and am trying to throw the scumteam off.

Snowvon, Fakeclaiming here as town is utterly stupid. It will be caught most likely and derail town.

For this setup, we should use two tiered mass claim. PR then VT. Some Matrix 6 setups have two PRs. Others have one. Scum won't know which PR players are vulnerable to CCing and which ones aren't. I'd be tempted to do it now, but scum would just shoot in the PRs. If we go a couple days (or when we feel that scum would be more likely than not to shoot a PR), that first part of the massclaim should be done. We should sit on it for now.

Wagoned players on day 1 should just claim PR or VT as there is no consistent night action to compare to and thus no way to verify or disprove the claim.

Not knowing how you play since you are new here it could be a gambit to get you to sheep her and support her wagons in the future. She White Knights you...and it taints your perspective of her. You sheep her votes thinking of course she's town she defended me and I'm town...

Basically an easy mislynch is an easy mislynch. It's great but fleeting for scum...it would be a better scum play to hold the easy ML for later and manipulate the potential ML into voting on their wagons or at least not voting/defending them. Why would scum push for a ML against someone who is an unwitting ally?

This only works if you pressure him. If you see scummy acts but aren't sure on alignment ask questions...poke and prod so you get a clearer picture don't just sit on your vote and expect it to magically make him announce "I'm town/scum!"

Really who scum buddy and who scum push is very game centric. Just because someone is "an easy mislynch" doesn't mean scum buddy them. The person scum want on their side needs to be more organic than that. After all, if you're constantly saving an easy mislynch, it make look fake after awhile.

Your actions happened to fit into the narrative I was pushing regarding Croc being blocked. I actually did think you were GA. If you constantly "blocked" Lyrium and there was no Crocing (which was true due to a serious of unfortunate events), I could keep my tunnel on Lyrium looking real. You happened to agree with said tunnel.

The high amount of VTs is why we can't do the plan now.

If we all massclaim PR or VT, scum either confirm all the PRs as town (which is roughly about 1/3 to 1/2 of us) or set themselves up as lynchbait. There's only a few PRs that don't require actions either that are remotely safe for scum to claim.

For instance, let's say we have 4 PR max (need to double check this), but 5 PR claims. We know at least one scum is in the PR claimers. The more they kill the power roles, the closer they are to outing themselves.

 

If "PR" is claimed instead of the role, it doesn't tell scum whether a doctor is in the setup.

if scum doesn't know whether a doctor is in the setup, they don't know whether trying to shoot the PR claim would fail or not.

 

Pinky, Scum would just shoot the PR claimers to eliminate actions and conftown. Right now, without PR information, the odds of shooting a PR is low. When enough VTs die, we should massclaim PR/VT to basically nearly set up two camps of scum. It won't be as flawless as the last time I did this but it will be better.

All this is true. It doesn't mean they buddy them but it is a possibility and we need to look at all of them if we're gonna catch scum. Everything gets laid out and eliminated as the game progresses with information to make the theory impossibly.

You don't have to CONSTANTLY save a mislynch. One is all it takes to taint the POV and change the game.
