There's active and then there's super active in pusing mislynches etc. This is super active as opposed to active.

She got into that fight with me and then Titus, but had very strong ground (especially on me), due to her looking townish regardless of what happened concerning me from halfway through D1 onwards

Hmm noted. I still /think/ Pinky is very up there town-wise, even if he's not in the never-lynch-them-please block

(shrug) You're searching for reasons to townread her, but the reasons you're using aren't really alignment-indicative for fonti. She can be very aggressive and super-active in pushing mislynches. She hasn't actuallybeen super active here, anyway. Whether what she did is "risky" or not (it can't be too risky if she's not lynched yet and you townread her for it) this is not her town play.

This isn't town-v-town. She's actually, honest to god, for real this time, on the scum team. No joke. It happens.

    Five votes to go.

As far as site/player meta goes, that's not a mistake.

I think you're the one making the mistake by assuming I know how people usually play as scum/town as well as the assumption that I should just take people at face value when they make a case.

I'm very much feeling my way in the dark here.

It's fine to not know people. But then your fonti read is illogical. Even in an imaginary world where fontisian is town, it doesn't make sense.

I didn't understand her Snowvon read until you paraphrased it.

Fuck dude if you're going to be a terrier nipping at my heels just go ahead and vote me.

I've gotten the impression that lynching a town!Fonti would be quite the prize for scum, so I can certainly understand that post.

It makes a hell of a lot more sense than your case against her.

For some reason the scum don't seem to want to lynch her this time.

It'd be less condemning for them to be on her wagon if your case wasn't so flaccid. That you have such conviction in your scumread of her when your case isn't worth squat just reeks of scum.

I mean c'mon... you had a better handle on her case against Snowvon than I did. You actually explained it in a way that made sense to me.

And you scumread her for that very same case?

    GTFO.

Pinky, it's not that I don't think your words have absolutely no backing behind them, but do you think you could elaborate on what makes fontisian town, beyond repeatedly saying "you are wrong" to a scum!fontisian case?

Given that fontisian is quite capable of reading me with near frightening accuracy, to the point where I am loathe to ever roll scum on this forum, I can't comprehend her reasons for scumreading me so strongly right off the bat aside from her faking it. She doesn't need to fake a scumread on me to see how I'll react to read me properly.

I am telling you this as a person who knows her and her playstyle well enough to gauge that something reeks. If you want to play up the "I have no idea what's going on, please don't ask me specific questions" shtick, the least you could do is not dismiss everything as if you know what you are talking about. You can't have it both ways.

Also, being able to summarize a case does not mean it's a good case. In any uninverse.

Nobody bats 1000, bubbala. Just because you don't like her read doesn't make her autoscum. That you are struggling so hard to justify your scumread on her only strengthens her case because seriously, who is right 100% of the time on their reads of anyone?

Instead of attacking her case, you're attacking her alignment. That is scummy, and I can see why it would strengthen a meta scumread.

If you're town, disassemble her case. Show us all why it's wrong. That's what I would expect town to do. Saying, "you're scum cuz you should know better!" doesn't help your situation at all.

I've already stated my reasons for townreading fonti. I had my doubts over her case on you because I simply didn't understand it. Rubicon's paraphrase made more sense to me than fonti's posts about it, so his attempt to doubtcast her backfired as far as I'm concerned.

Who said it did? It'd have been far simpler to simply appear to buy it as an excuse to hop on her wagon and lie low, if I was scum.

I think you missed the part where disassembling her case involves my role, which I will not be explicitly sharing.

    ---------- Post automerged at 19:32 ---------- Previous post was at 19:30 ----------

I believe fontisian is capable of reading me perfectly because, historically, she has. Minus a few IRL games, but having other people actively talking makes for nice distractions.
