    Summary alone sounds suspiciously like Knowledge is Power, but I'll give it a go.

    EDIT: First chapter in, Harry is a skillful young soccer player who scored the winning goal for his team. The vibes are strong with this one.

    Reading the authors notes to see if the author somehow got permission, or even if it just says they were inspired by Fettucini, nothing. Apparently this story was actually originally called Harry Potter and the Power of Knowledge, and that's not mentioned in the authors notes it's going by the forgotten title at the top of the prologue they didn't delete.

    So overall so far, looking like a worse quality version of Knowledge is Power that seems to have come about in some fishy circumstances.

    Read the first chapter and it was sort of... meh. Nothing deal-breaking there. The second chapter had the following surprises,
    Harry abused by the Dursleys for doing better at school than Dudley and Prongslet, howling inner wolf, cub
    before it even ended. So... yeah. Too many red flags.

    I am working on an Adventure/Mystery story at the moment. Two chapters already written and I'm in the process of structuring the plot. Harry raised by the Tonkses and Sirius, with noticeable differences in character. Dark undertones, slight angst, Ravenclaw, no canon rehash.

    Because this story is relevant to this thread, and I thought that people who are searching for this kind of story would be interested to help. I neglected to mention that it is a Neville!BWL story, but thought it was obvious.
