A full transcript of the Malfoy stuff can be found here, and actually it had one passage that was kinda interesting:

There's a fic premise in there about the older Death Eater types doing everything in their power to make that happen. Sending fruit baskets maybe. Or, y'know, subtly torturing and breaking Harry over the years that he ends up going full Dark Lord. And then, plot twist, Voldemort is brought back by non-Potter loyalists. Dark Lord Vs Dark Lord ensues. Like Kramer Vs Kramer, but with a lot more bloody violence death and stuff.

Is this "Sacred 28" mentioned anywhere else? It sounds like the basis of Wizarding aristocracy.

Referenced in an earlier chapter moment, Taure was decent enough to transcribe the details here.

    Well, that's settled then XD

A bit of a hint about Ministry finances too. The fact that they got a loan from a private citizen seems to imply a lack of any kind of systematic loaning by institutions, though we know Bagman owed the Goblins money.

That's fine and nice, friend :)

But, the only thing that I noticed was this:

Merlin was in Slytherin. He also lived in the 15th century.

I cannot be happier that this was repeated.

    YOU WILL ALL ACCEPT MERLINGATE!

Rowling really needs to take the time to clear up her version of Merlin. When he lived, what he did, and so on.

I don't think that definitely states that he was alive in the fifteenth century. Whilst it seems to imply it, it could be stating that it was established after his time.

Though that he had a Hogwarts house at all certainly places him more in the timeline.

On holiday so decided to go back an do every scene in pottermore to 100%, collect everything, win some duels, brew some potions (which is really fucking hard) and get all the badges.

Now just DH left to do and then we can see if they republish the books or whore more money out of it some how.

You know, the part at the end of the transcript, which mentions Astoria Greengrass and how she had a bit of a change not unlike Draco, makes me think that JK Rowling may end up explaining Astoria's past, and through her, Daphne's as well. If I'm right, Daphne might not end up that Canon OC that people like to write about because she's practically unknown. I wonder how that might end up changing the fandom if true.

I think something similar happened to the femBlaise/Harry pairing when it wasn't clear that Blaise was a guy, and so as the only unknown Slytherin, people if I remember correctly, use to pair 'her' with Harry. Then it was revealed that she was a guy, and people switched to Daphne. I wonder if we'll see a rise in Harry/Tracey pairings?

As of today, the social aspect of the site has been removed.

They've changed the potions game somehow, but without the chatting it seems pointless.

This isn't Pottermore, but this seems like the best place to put it:

For those of us not from the UK, is it fair to assume that the womens institute is either some form of feminism institution or a kind of charity/ shelter thing?

Edit 1: Also, someone with the e-book version of HP pretty please post the part of salem being mentioned in Canon, i think its in the Quidditch cup bit, if i remember right? googeling WI right now

Edit 2: From the WI Homepage:
    About the WI

The Women's Institute (WI) was formed in 1915 to revitalise rural communities and encourage women to become more involved in producing food during the First World War. Since then the organisation's aims have broadened and the WI is now the largest voluntary women's organisation in the UK. The WI will celebrate its centenary in 2015 and currently has 212,000 members in around 6,600 WIs.
The WI plays a unique role in providing women with educational opportunities and the chance to build new skills, to take part in a wide variety of activities and to campaign on issues that matter to them and their communities.

Wonderful news: Pottermore now has a Timeline of the Wizarding World History.

    Some interesting examples:

    "Queen Maeve

Legendary witch who trained your sorcerers in Ireland prior to the establishment of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry."

    "Gregory the Smarmy

Famous originator of Gregory's Unctuous Unction - potion to persuade the drinker that the giver is their very best friend. Alleged to have wormed his way into King Richard's confidence and thus made his fortune."

Okay, this is a terrible timeline.

First off, it's not even a timeline, just a list of characters in birth order.

Secondly, we only have a couple of entries per century.

Thirdly, there are some serious historical errors, such as Wendelin the Weird being put pre-1014 AD, centuries before witch burnings happened.

Fourthly, there are manifest errors. We have a witch discovering the use of Gillyweed sometime between 1656-1729. Then, after that, we have another witch discover that Gillyweed exists, 1742-1845.

    Really sloppy work.
