Spider-man and Nightwing. The reason for Spider-man is he's an everyday man. Not the strongest super power but he still manages to get by. And to be perfectly honest I adore spider-man so much that it's the reason why I'm studying biochemistry.

Reason for Nightwing is that he's an immensely talented human. He had the potential to become better than Batman and he did manage that. He's a more talented martial artist and a better team player.

And sadly both of them had shit for authors for a certain time but it still doesn't mean I'm gonna stop loving those two

Deadpool. Been following him for almost a decade before he was popular. Such a tragic figure. :(

Frank Castle, especially in the MAX series written by Garth Ennis.

I like way too many comic book characters. Black Adam and Sinestro are pretty high up on the list for me. The Superior Spider-Man is up there too. Kamandi. Superboy. Ronan the Accuser. Phyla-Vell & Moondragon. Beta Ray Bill. Ben Reilly/Scarlet Spider. Storm with a mohawk.

I think I read too many comics...

    I miss Superior Foes.

Anyway, I like Spider-Man and both of the 616 Scarlet Spiders. Moon Knight, too. There are a lot more I like, but those are more 'favorites of the month', ie Kamala Khan, Scott Lang, Superior Iron Man...
My favorite duo, though, is definitely Booster Gold and Blue Beetle (Ted Kord), from DC.

Is it weird that I don't think of stuff like Lucky Luke, Tintin, Asterix and the whole Uncle Donald and Uncle Scrooge books as comics?

If we count those, than yeah, probably Uncle Scrooge, although I kinda see him, Donald and the three kids as kind of a package deal.

Otherwise, am fond of the new Ms Marvel.

You take your hands from my waifu. I do love her, but I saw so little of her and I can't see her leading her own series, or getting empathetic with her problems, only very doses appearences, like Gaiman did. Death is the best character in Sandman, but Dream is 2nd best and a better protagonist.

We saw a couple of plot lines featuring Death - The High Cost of Living and The Time of Your Life, but I agree with the sentiment. She doesn't have enough internal conflict or drama to make for an interesting protagonist, but she works really well when paired with another character.

On the other hand, I absolutely don't agree that Dream is the second best character in Sandman - he might be a better protagonist, but I can't get over his constant whingeing and sulking, his pettiness (Nada was in hell for how long?), and the fact that he was generally unlikable. He had redeeming qualities, of course, but he's far from one of my favourite characters.
