Decent chapter over all. Chouchou remains to be over-used as the comedy relief, but i did laugh when Naruto was like "..are we speaking the same language?" it's doubly funny because i could think of a bunch of moments when someone could say the same thing to Naruto when he was younger.

The shit that mini-juubito said about how out of ALL the people, Naruto is the ONE person he can't go up against is some grade A bs. I'm sitting here like, if that's true then why the fuck did he run from Sasuke? And i'm sorry but i don't even see how this kid can take on even Kakashi, nevermind Naruto/Sasuke. Gonna need to see more "show" and less "tell" Kishimoto.

Humor me on this idea but...have we actually seen anywhere in the manga that Sasuke himself, not from Naruto's mouth or Sakura's, but from Sasuke himself actually acknowledge that he has a daughter?

My theory is Sasuke doesn't even know he has a daughter. And everyone is lying to Sarada pretty much. Though Naruto did a fuckall job when he was like "Oh hey Sarada, why don't you tell us about Sasuke, since you know you spent so much time with him...oh wait"

I'm thinking Karin raped him when he was unconcious, had Sarada after Sasuke went his own way, found out she had a disease from either Orochimaru's experiments when he was under his control or idk, and went to give the kid to Sakura to raise knowing she'd do anything for Sasuke's kid.

Meanwhile, Sasuke doesn't know he has a kid, which explains why he hasn't even met Sarada yet which is fucking insane, as much of a douchebag Sasuke is, i don't think he's that -much- of a d-bag to not even drop by once a year to see his daughter or something.

Also, the line that Sasuke said at the end of the chapter makes a lot more sense this way. Honestly the only way it could make sense that he'd think Sarada was with Shin was that he doesn't know he fathered a kid. Or that Sarada is under genjutsu by Shin i suppose.

 

It seems like he'd recognize her if he knew she existed.

Did anybody else think that the 'Sasuke' in the last page isn't actually Sasuke but Shisui/ Orochimaru's genetically engineered new host/ bad guy under henge?

Sarada never even met Sasuke, it's not like she could see the difference.

 

I seem to recall either in the anime or the manga I can't remember which. Where there is a flashback of Jiraiya who is talking to the elders about going to get Tsunade, and they offer him an ANBU detail but he turns them down and requests to bring Naruto. Can anyone remember the chapter or episode number?

Some people seem to see imaginary!Sasuke with two arms, too, which shows how much Sarada knows about her dad.
