Gotta admit, don't find that Lion one particularly funny.

 

Just to be clear, we're watching a lion gets it's head stuck in something and then panic and desperately try to free itself right?

Doesn't matter whether it's animal or human, I generally don't find another's pain and suffering to be particularly humorous.

 

I like that his lion friends are earnestly trying to help. A shining example of brohood.

 

That's fine, but I honestly think you're blowing it out of proportion when you say that that lion is "suffering". It seems to me that this is the big cat equivalent of a domestic cat getting it's head stuck in a paper bag, jar, whatever. Yeah, it's freaking out, but it's pretty easy for a zookeeper to remove the trash can and the lion is just fine. Probably.

 

Yeah, because a panicking lion is just as easy to approach as a housecat, right?

 

Because Zookeepers have never dealt with a panicking lion, they had to kill it.

I'm not saying it's as easy. Just talking about why I find it funny and why I posted it into this thread.

 

They have tranquilliser darts, they don't have to kill the lion. No need for drama.

 

To be fair, I was never once meaning to imply that they had to kill the lion. That'd be absurd. Just saying that I don't find it funny, personally, for several reasons.

 

I love how you're whining about the poor panicking lion but not the comic where a guy bashes a autistic kid so hard against the counter that he's decapitated.

 

I suppose that has to do with the fact that the lion isn't fictional.
