Yeah, I'm looking forward to Persona 5, too. Everyone criticising Sony for their lack of 2015 releases has either forgotten about it, or just wants an excuse to hate. The other games I'll be buying this year for my PS4 are FIFA 16 and maybe the new Tony Hawk that just got announced. Not sure if I should get Battlefront on PS4 or PC. I prefer mouse and keyboard, so probably PC.

Will definitely be getting Fallout 4 on PC.

It's definitely not going to be a bad year for the PS4, and next year and following years will be awesome.

 

Dreams has a lot of potential, will be intrigued to see what people come up with there.

 

So is anyone else excited by Nier 2? The first is one of my favourite ever games, and it looks like it will actually have a budget this time around, and Platinum of all people are corroborating on it.

 

Dark Souls 3 info from E3, for those who missed it.

The thing that sticks out the most for me is the lack of a hub for the players. I don't understand why they'd remove that, when every previous Souls game, and Bloodborne, had a hub that pretty much the majority of players loved. DeS had the Nexus, DaS had Firelink Shrine, DaS 2 had Majula, BB had Hunter's Dream, but DaS 3 is apparently not gonna have anything like one of those.

 

Quirky action rpg? I'm intrigued as hell, but it's probably 2017 so I've put it out of mind.

The Unexpected

For Honor - I get the feeling that this is going to eat a chunk of my life.
Cuphead - Only for the art style, really.
The Division - This would normally go in the Obvious category, but I honestly didn't expect to want it. Now that I've actually had a look at some gameplay I'm pretty interested.

 

I'm only a little bit ashamed with how crazy hot I find Faith from Mirror's Edge.

That's fine right? The graphics and fidelity are good enough that It's not too weird, right? RIGHT?!

I eagerly await her showing up in this Morpheus game.

 

If I recall correctly, some DLPers admitted to finding animated animals attractive, so I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Anyway, Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 looks pretty good, but I hope it's the last in the Storm series. They need to really reinvent Naruto games for the new generation. I hope they'll eventually make an open world Naruto RPG, where you can create your own genin and work your way up. That would be beyond badass. Unlikely to happen, though.

 

NUNS 4 looks pretty awesome, I have to say.

 

I want to see more of ME:A, of course. I'll say that I rather enjoyed most of the reveals, but the unexpected surprise for me was the new NFS.

Yeah, I'm serious. NFSU2 was literally the first racing game I've ever played and if this reboot is any good, it could be everything Underground 2 wasn't. Nostalgia is pretty strong for me here.

Now, if 3DO resurrected and wrenched HOMM back from Ubi, there'd be a Holy Trifecta.

 

I found the original Nier to be a little boring, with rather poor gameplay. Hopefully when they breathe some life into the new one, they won't halfass it.

 

Above all else, where Assassins Creed is going concerns me. The trailer felt alright, but I want them to get back to the main storyline/modernity.

I'm seemingly one of the few who really enjoyed Desmond, particularly in AC3.

 

I'm with you. Just when Desmond was becoming awesome, they caved to most of the fans who disliked him and killed him. Major dick move, imo, not to mention how retarded it is to fanservice by killing off your main character. I liked him a lot.

 

Can someone explain the plot of the new MGS?

Also Battlefront gave me major wood. I fucking loved those games as a kid and the graphics look great.
