I remember reading a game where scum had a poison ability and the last scum mass-souped near endgame. Other than that, I'm not sure.

If scum only had one kill, maybe. However, if scum guess wrong, they out a scum. That's a huge price to pay. If there was no outing price tag, then you're analysis is probably right.

Yet, if we have Fonti judge who townread TMNT so hard, then scum wouldn't have souped because the risk was too great of that scenario. That's why scum holding off to have more role info is accurate.
