Considering their power set and the way this game has gone so far re: crumbs and claiming, I'm not sure Jan saying anything about his role would be protown if he actually is town. I know scum have me pegged to a pretty narrow circle (I did this voluntarily to help confirm Titus and thus confirm me), and if I'm reading certain things right, a few other people are probably narrowed down to a handful of roles as well.

If Jan is town, giving scum a name to cross off everyone's probables seems dicey.

 

Problem is he's also made very opportunistic attacks sheeping other(dead) people.

Jan is very capable of both as either alignment.
