Best guess at this point is that Fonti was Sakura - she kinda hinted at it - and the whole Pozzai D1 thing was a ruse/gambit of some kind. Maybe she started the push thinking he really was scum, then kept going when she saw how some people were jumping / reacting oddly to it?

I could see her interacting with Pozzai so much D1 and being most convinced he was town, then vaccinating him, but keeping the aggression on him for Reasons.

That's pure speculation / educated guess on my part, though.

Realistically, I kind of think the "best case" is more likely. Poisoning the one role they know - Jan - and then starting with me is definitely a desperation move.

Logically, from me admitting I was roleblocked N1 and Waco and Titus being dead, I narrowed my role down to 3, maybe 4 if you really want to tinfoil, possibilities. Better odds than scum probably had for the rest of you, so why not start with me? But still, doing it that way - being willing to take a shot on a guess rather than a certainty - pretty much has to mean it was a "no other options" kind of play.

Conclusions to here; Odd that Snow votes out Kalas and suddenly Kalas' jumps into the thread with excuses for not posting. RL, so whatever, shelving Kalas' reasoning for being absent, but the original point remains that Snow prodded Kalas quite hard and suddenly Kalas appears.

Aye, I was thinking you were Sakura as well by D4 start given the roleblock N1 and then Waco RB N2 with Pozzai surviving N3 but not Waco/TMNT. I didn't want to openly state that but I hinted such with my arguments with Snow on Sakura living. I'm glad I was wrong.

I think this makes sense. Regarding role claiming as mentioned by others, I don't know if we should start outing roles now, however. Not until everyone has at least done some work toward an ISO on Kalas for reactions and possible Scummates.

 

I actually have a note in my QT to ask you about this. Care to share?

That was my thought process exactly, which is why I voted him. I agree that we should all put in an iso on Kalas and list our scumspects in case he's not the last scum and one of us dies in the night, but I mean why on earth would Kalas, who was fairly townread, try to soup unconfirmed people if he wasn't in dire straights? Because of the townread, dire straights could really only be Snow being his remaining partner.

Idk, maybe I'm being stupid, but this seems straightforward.

I made a couple posts that I hoped might be interpreted as coming from the PoV of Sakura - like when I offered an opinion for why Pozzai might have been vaccinated over Waco. I knew I was in a vulnerable position, role-wise, and that I was a roleblock/NK/soup target, and wanted to lay a few false trails.
Kalas; the signature thing, really?

Like, where on earth do you get Sakura from that? That post was 100% on the level. I read some games over at 2+2 and they appear to be kind of picky about changing your avatar and such during a game, so I wanted to be clear on the rules... like, that was a total "newbie doesn't want to make a misstep" post.

I can't even get Sakura out of that with a 10-layer tinfoil hat.
