That's true I suppose. Some of the better teams will most likely have new strategies up their sleeve, which other teams aren't heavily prepared for.

I can't see Empire beating LGD after LGD's strong performance in the group stages, especially with LGD, as you mentioned, most likely having prepared themselves for this encounter.

They beat fnatic, who took a game off Secret. Sorry, it might have looked a bit jumbled. And Secret is a notch above EG.

I concede the point though.

Nahaz is fucking awful. If you guys missed Redeye firing shots at Mad btw, you need to go back and watch it later. Completely brutal.

 

Nah, saw it. Don't like Redeye at all. And Mad on the alalyst desk...that's just horrible. I'd prefer Draskyl.

 

If anything, watching the pre-match stuff was worth it just for that.
Almost as good as the synderen burn during the group stage.

LGD is getting fucking raped.

 

LGD is slowly gaining the lead. Some mistakes by Empire, especially silent.

 

Silent's getting too arrogant.

 

The crowd and lighting here are awesome.

Empire got way too greedy game 1.

 

Diving T4s instead of taking base was pretty dumb. Xiao8 is so good though. It's ridiculous.

 

Wow, silent plays so badly.

Great game. When silent died on bottom I really feared that we would see the same as in game one. WP silent.

 

Game 3 is kind of embarrassing so far.

 

Empire would need a miracle to pull a comeback.

 

Fuck, both Empire and LGD played so well in that last game. Apart from the early game.

I remember in game 2, Tobi was asking if it was worth Xaio8 spending 800g on Sentries in the early game even before boots... The answer is YES. Yes it is absolutely worth it.

The bounty rotations won that game for LGD. Even with their start, if Empire had gotten one good fight where they traded like 2-3 for 5, they would of been back in that game for sure.

But LGD played methodically and never made a single mistake.

Gained a lot of respect for both teams after that performance.

Empire should of had this series though, game one was lost due to them diving for kills instead of focusing on objectives (towers/rax) when they were at their strongest. LGD played perfectly as well though of course, after the early game.

 

Ready to watch c9 either win or melt down. Either would be entertaining!
