I remember nos tres reges (the name the plagiarizer is going by atm) from VINCET and it's sequel, which aren't up on ff.net anymore.

Part of me wonders if this is some kind of a test to prove how much you can get away with on ff.net. That's probably a stretch though.

 

It must be Alexx trolling on ffn now. DLP banned him and ffn is gonna be next.

No, guys like that treat the review page like a message board. He saw something he feels he needs to reply to, so he leaves a review of his own. He's leaving a message for the impersonator that's claiming you plagiarized him.

 

The plagiarist didn't plagiarize me. The guest refers to "the "author", who shamelessly plagiarized this". What would "this" be? Lesser Evils, I think. The thief claimed I had plagiarized it. The guest comes in, sees the thief's reviews and has a knee-jerk reaction without checking, leaves an anonymous fuck you to me. Faulty reasoning?

But maybe you're right. Not like I can PM this guy and ask.

 

When I read it, I understood it as Rep did, in the way that the Guest was using your reviews in order to reply to the plagiarizer and defend you. To me, it seemed like when the Guest said "plagiarized this" he meant your story had been plagiarized by someone else.

But I could be wrong.

 

I also took it that way . . . it was defending you, ScottPress. Although, I can see how it is not exactly spelled out.

Also, I would support an additional layer of permissions that protects WBA from general access by non-participating members of the community.

 

He had to have access to the WBA the first time around as well - the story he stole from me could only be found in there. Oddly enough, it hasn't been stolen this time around. That's fine by me since the story was a turd.
