I'll agree with Odran that ACA is pretty subpar.

 

I thought it was a decent read, even though there were elements that kept me cringing throughout. The non-Hermione POVs were the worst because the author didn't seem to get Snape at all, and because they were blatantly wank-y, as if the characters have nothing to do all day but to think of how awesome and impressive and terrifying Hermione is.

Somewhat ironically, since I'm not usually a huge fan of the character, I thought Hermione was the only one who was characterized well. And I'm in two minds about the twist with Tom Riddle -- on one hand, it is a somewhat intriguing idea, on the other hand I really dislike how the author is altering canon characterizations without any logic just to suit Hermione. Still, the writing is good and I liked Hermione's character progression well enough to keep reading the story, though it is far from my favorite fanfic.

 

Please help me to find the story with Harry being mad scientist who infect rats with werewolf curse to find a cure for Lycantropy, tests his new relaxants on the unwilling friends and constanly experiments on himself.

How about a dark or evil Neville? I read one a while back where he starts using the unforgivables on other students while still at Hogwarts and obliviating them afterwards. Hermione learns Occulumency and breaks past the mental barriers and that's how it is discovered that he is evil. I also think he's Crouch jr's apprentice.

I don't think I've seen a non-stupid one though.

 

There's one where Neville's many times Great Uncle is a Vampire and sort of trains him up. Harry kills a few vampires before sparing Neville's Uncle. I believe Harry's patronus also had the capacity to kill dementors. I can't recall the name or author though.

Im trying to find a fic i read a while ago. The story starts as a run of the mill AU. Latter it turns out this is a Time travel story. Harry attempted to travel back in time to posses his younger self but failed. Future Harry's memories survive the passage back in time but are locked away in Harry's head. Throughout the story he gets 'wierd feelings' and the like as a result of the memories, but he can't recall the memories and doesn't know that they exist.

Harry eventually manages to unlock all his future memories late in the story.

I think future Harry was married to Luna but past Harry had no interest in her.

Has anyone heard of this story?

 

Hey guys, im trying to remember the name of a oneshot i read a while back, dumbledore gets shot by a muggle around privet drive, harry gets raised by sirius and some lady from DOM, the DOM tries searching for horcruxes....and thats about all i remember.

I remember a story like this, but I also remember it having strong hints of H/Hr. It started in Third Year and went on from there... it was called Harry Potter and the (something) of Fate. Might not be what you're looking for, but it's worth a shot.

 

Looking for a story. All I can remember is that there's a tower in Azkaban with hundreds of wands inside it. By casting a patronis, It would amplify it enough to drive every Dementor on the island into space. Also, I think Kingsley duels Voldemort at some point and gets killed?

A particular story popped into my head after reading the above post. I know it's not good, but not remembering the name of it is bothering me. It has Moody dueling Voldemort fairly decently (using the cliche that Moody went to school with him and knows his style), and eventually starts bombarding him with killing curses when thing go sour. Also, I remember Tonks getting stuck in a metamorph form that looks like Bellatrix Lestrange when Voldemort uses a pseudo spell in parseltongue on her (I guess it was sort of like a placebo effect, or power of suggestion that locked her in it).

If this is also Renegade Cause, I'm going to look silly.
