I'm bummed that blab never explained his Vira read.
But I just read High Noon Mafia, as requested.

Conclusions: I miss Prophylaxis, drunk Bill Door is hilarious, and Vira and blab both played differently than in this game. Vira was noticeably more passive, in her reads and in the way she scumhunted. This game, she's reaching out to players and poking them for content. And blab was, you know, doing stuff.

So this makes me feel better about Vira, but I have no idea what blab was getting at. It looks to me like he thought he needed to give me a reason and made one up.

Yo, Fonti. Aside from Jan and Rubicon, any thoughts on the rest of the live-list?

@HF, that wasn't exactly what I was hoping for from you after a hiatus. Seconding Vira's request of a wall.
Scott, I don't see why you couldn't have answered me from the mindset you already had rather than after a reread. Since I'm slightly scumreading you with Rubicon, it feels like you're holding out for time to digest/spin my responses to you against me.

On mobile. Had stuff to do with the family today. I'll be on for a bit more tonight.

Zenzao, where were you going with this? What did you think those of us who switched to Seratin were up to?

I believe Von is town and I like the front end of the Seratin wagon through Scott Press.

How hard is it to grasp? Jan(IIRC) said about avoiding a no lynch via tie for why he switched to Seratin. I posted that to reason out what would of had to have happened to ensure a no lynch. If the third Scum was in one of those already on Seratin and wanted to halt things at least one Day they'd still need further aid to pull off the no lynch.

I was surprised that you also switched to Seratin in the last minute because I started to suspect you of being Scum with Scott.

Right, but I got the impression you thought it was suspicious that people moved their votes when they didn't need to. What scum motivation did you see?

I linked you my d1 accusation of him, why don't you dissect that?

But since you really want to twist my words in my mouth, why do you only quote the things that are convenient?

    My post #492:
Lets check for a second what blab did day 1, just to be sure.

    #68

His short read on Citrus/Newcomb being w/w

I have to throw this one in, because if blab and Seratin are the scumteam this is just so much gold.

    #95

    His townread on von

His answer when i asked about citrus metaplay, because he played a different d1 to Narutomafia, in my eyes.

    #199

    His Seratin read.

    #201
    #201 was blabs last post.

So do you disagree that Seratin was his most evaluated Townread at that point?

He had 1 metaread on Von, 1 metaread on Citrus and 2 ingamereads on Seratin.

If you would care to read my accusation in #235 you would see what i thought of his play at the time.
I expected more of him and i am not the only one.

After that he DID NOT SAY A SINGLE WORD.
He missed out on the most important part of the day.

Maybe he was town and has a good reason for it.
Maybe you are town and in a bad spot at the moment.
The way you are jumping at me is more a trapped animal clawing his way to somehow survive than someone using her brain.

It is completly true that my reaction was more black and white than it needed to be, if only for the reason to make my point about the possible copcheck clear.

I gave my fucking reads 2 posts earlier so my opinion on the matter should be obvious.

Do you disagree that Blab or Rubicon are the most likely copchecks after day 1? Which was the point i was making there.

Moving on to more important things. Jump at me if you want, but try reading the whole thread first, thanks.

Because the votes in this game don't require meeting the full amount to ensure a lynch. Whoever is highest short of the X-amount at DayEnd is lynched except in ties. Suddenly jumping on the Seratin wagon so late to guarantee hammer felt like aiming for town cred and/or being able to point back at that down the road and say "Hey remember that time I voted to lynch Scum!Seratin?".

    Caught up. First:

    I will fight you.

Second: hi fontisian, the bbq was fun, I hugged Manasi and rolled town all three times, how was your trip, and how does it feel replacing into a scum slot?

    Rubicon (3): Citrus (#434), Zenzao (#441), hisfluffiness (#443)
    Jan (1): blabtisian (#497)

Abstaining (6): Snowvon, Rubicon, ScottPress, Vira, weiyaoli, Jan

Do we win if we lynch fonti and fluff?

You can't handle me Von. I will just throw kittens at you until your heart melts. Pretty sure one is all i need.

I just played a videomafia game, made a perfect split with my team day 1, played rly scummy for 2 days. got lynched d3, they got all the towncred. my "partners" got lynched the next two days and mafia won.
I managed to not have a single overlapping vote with my team all game. You rarely get such a perfect game.

Anyways going to bed soonish, curious what the coming day brings.

Seratin flipped Scum. Most of the players on his wagon voted him because they believed him to be Scum. The probability of at least one other Scum being on his wagon exists. Towncred is gained for contributing to the successful lynch of confirmed Scum, helping to aid at least one of the remaining Scum in masquerading.

Tl:dr; Scum attempt to gain towncred via voting/hammering when a majority is not required and a tie was unlikely. There was minimal point in voting at that stage other than seeking towncred.

Having said all of that, I realize the hypocrisy, given that I also voted - if too late to count. At the time I started that post neither Jan nor you had changed wagons, and by the time I finished the countdown was at 8 seconds left in the Day.

Your posts at the time indicate you thought they would be scummy for the last-minute votes if Seratin flipped town. That doesn't match what you're saying now.

You also voted earlier on Seratin, unvoted when he was a fairly clear lynch, didn't go for the counterwagon and /then/ voted late. One of these voting patterns is not like the others~

So vote me then. I'm going off of memory and I'm watching Toonami at the same time as I'm writing here from my 3DS.
