I'm trying to remember the name of the story when Weasley Twins created the magical analogue of machine gun (that shot potions instead of bullets), and used it to defend Diagon Alley.

 

I'm looking for a fic that involves Harry going back in time to meet the founders. Preferably an older Harry and not a family bonding fic.

 

Makes me remember about the story with I think 17/19 year old Harry going back to the Founders time and falling in love with Rowena, then all 4 of them come back to the future after he does, can't remember what story it was though, but I also think it was abandoned.

Amulet of Time 1: The Age of the Founders is the only that comes to mind. No idea how it has aged, but I'm pretty sure it's full of cliché with power ups and animagus and stuff like that. There's 3 completed sequels I believe.

Does it have magic trunks? I like reading the classics and I'll tolerate most cliches for a 2001 fic, but I'll draw the line at super magic trunks.

 

I honestly can't remember. I don't think so, at the top of my head.

 

You know I'd like an AU where wizards made enormous use of expanded space, everyone had super mansions and there was profound culture shock for muggleborns since they basically were entering faerie. There's so much cool magic in Harry Potter and people always get distracted by shipping. I have a pretty high tolerance for magic exposition, probably a result of entering fanfiction through alternate history, and if there was anything else like Harry's Island Home I would love it.

 

Building that AU would require an immense time investment, and an immense mental investment too. I can see someone like Shezza or JBern doing it, but no one else, honestly.

I was wondering if any of you have read a new Percy Jackson fic that's actually worth reading?

The only one that comes to mind and isn't a crossover is Son of the Western Sea.

But does anyone here have a copy of "Harry Potter and the Return of the True Sorcerers" by Magicalfoci? It's a HP/CCS crossover, last updated in 2012 before the entire profile was wiped by the author.

I was reading the nth Harry/Hermione time travel story.

It got mildly interesting the author had them murder off a bunch of DEs. Harry and Hermione communicated via Hermione using Legilimency on him, but they had a spat and he began blocking her out. She then proceeds to get angry and murder off more DEs on her own, gets caught and almost killed, and sees her home burned down after one of the DEs recognize her.

Anyone have a name?

A story in the Mature WbA Thread reminded me of a smut story:
A Psychologically damaged Harry (Psychopath or at least a lack of empathy, can't remember) uses animal domestication methods on either Lavender or Parvati to slowly seduce/groom them. Can't remember if oneshot or multi-chaptered.

Does anyone know the name or Author? Intense Google-fu has left me wanting.

Looking for a story I read awhile back. I only remember a little bit about it. Three things specifically stand out.

>Harry receives a letter from Voldemort which asks him to switch sides. He deliberates becoming a spy for the order, but ultimately decides not to.
>At one point Harry gives a speech to the DA, where he copies a line from Voldemort's speech at the graveyard.
>At the end of the story it is mentioned that Harry ended up marrying an OC veela who is never shown in-story.

I don't remember if the story was actually any good, but it's been bugging me for a while now.
