If you're saying what I think you're saying, yes, I considered that, but Taure's experienced. He's not a new player.

There's a couple things to mention there.

    1. Old DLP mafia games are nothing like the ones we have going now. They were considerably more happy-go-lucky. The first DLP mafia game was 18 pages long.

    2. Experienced players can and often do get reads wrong, and many experienced players in this game have got reads wrong.

I can't even remember how many mafia games I've played, but it's not more than three, and I'm fairly sure I died really quickly in all of them.

Uh, yes you did. I was talking about your commentary on Cobalt in #467 as is linked in my post

Which is to say, I made no claim about a general inability to make "interaction reads", simply that in the chaos of Sesc's claim, there was so much suspicious shit everywhere that almost everyone looked like scum based on interaction.

Also, the quote you post isn't an interaction read. I wasn't saying Colbalt was scum, I was merely pointing out an inconsistency.

Seriously Taure?? Read the first sentance, you are pointing out in a negative way that Cobalt said one thing in an interaction with you, and did the opposite when interacting with someone else...

Whoa, are we seriously entertaining a world where I'm scum? I don't know how to say I'm not besides to say I'm not or claim, which would obviously be a mistake, but guys. Come on. If we leave the Sesc/Citrus grouping alone, we need to lynch one of Waco/Taure. Waco feels like the better choice, but by way of POE I could tolerate a Taure lynch.

This is how a lynch wagon starts, by the way.

Which you point out to buld a case on someone, especially as you had already began dumping the blame for the abortive Sesc wagon on Cobalt, BEFORE you even got off of it!!

The reasons for why I switched to Sesc and then back have been talked about twice already, and none of them involved thinking that Cobalt was scum.

Not every inconsistency you point out is to indicate that a person is scum. You can also point out inconsistencies by people who you think are town in order to persuade them to act in a certain way (i.e. the way that isn't inconsistent).

I didn't say that you thought Cobalt was scum. I believe you knew the opposite, and was setting up Cobalt as a mislynch to cover your mistake

You know, before Waco started posted I would have been happy to switch my vote to Typhon, because as I said I was mostly indifferent between them. It was only Waco's "laying low" strategy that put him marginally in front.

But now that he's tried so hard to get a mislynch on a town target of convenience, I'm rather more suspicious of him.

It's also notable that Waco still hasn't made any contribution to the game in general, hasn't exposed himself in any way by establishing reads or by arguing for one course of action or the other. It's like Waco is completing a side-quest instead of the main game, and in that side quest there are just two characters: Taure and Waco.
