Process of Elimination Lee. Make a town circle, lynch outside it.

What an absolutely boring way to play the game.

I agree, we could just kill Lee and see what happens. That is way more fun for everyone!

That's fair. Also check post 7 in my QT for why this question is great atm.

Mainly, I don't have a Titus yet. Too many people I don't have much of a read on at the moment. Also, I'm trying to keep more of an eye on the big picture at this early junction. I think the fact that I tunnelled so hard on Titus in Naruto came back to bite me hard, b/c after Titus was essentially conf!town on D2, I was in bad shape b/c I'd focused so much on her, and so I was wagonned even though my readwall early D2 was nearly right on the money.

While I don't have strong reads to push, I have been trying to poke and prod to create the reactions and responses that will help me. And in fairness I have P&P'd a large section of players so far, albeit not all have answered yet.

For the moment, HF, Cobalt, Fonti & Tempus are players I'm keeping an eye on, either just because they feel OoC, or gut feeling, and see what develops. Ideally my goal is to play more similar to how I did in Endgames, where I prodded for a good chunk of D1, and then pressed hard as the game-state clears in my view (sadly in Endgames, 5 of the 6 people I was scum-reading were in fact scum, but I wagonned the 1 who was actually town...sigh, thank god that wagon lost out).

*repressed memories of Leeroy Lucky Lee D1*

I'm pretty sure that happened sometime ago, and I think it was a stressful experience though I don't remember the outcome

Welcome to the town-block Newcomb. Though your tenure there is going to proceed under CONSTANT VIGILANCE after last game.

    Snowvon
    .
    Waco, Tempus
    Newcomb
    Moridin
    .
    .
    Lungs
    =null=

I think this is where I'm at right now, with spacing to kinda fill in the spectrum with relative distances, as always.

Thoughts on my town-spectrum thus far? Dazzling or nah?

---------- Post automerged at 10:59 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:49 PM ----------

This is long, so I answered within the quote block in red, if that's cool

Again, I'm not going to literally have a section for every single player in every one of my posts. And I know I tend to ignore some players unless someone specifically asks me to address them etc. because that's how I play the game. Like literally I always do that. You can go back to every single one of my games - my town games where I'm trying to solve the game, my scum games where I'm trying to fake it. Go look at the QT's, I can link them if you want. I slowly build up PoE lists of players as I consider them until I eventually hit everyone. That's a part of how I think when I play mafia games. So no, I'm not going to ping every player that has low activity, because then I'm going to get lost + won't be able to even follow all the players I'm interacting/engaging with.

---------- Post automerged at 10:59 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:59 PM ----------

Also - why aren't you interested in pinging/addressing any of those players with low activity yourself? You seem to be all 'high-and-mighty' about how the proper thing for me to do is address them all, yet you aren't addressing a single one! Literally only addressing me, with a few snippets for Jan every now and then

Luckylee is probably playing League, but he should really return and give some thoughts.

The fact that I feel like the only things to talk about right now are Tempus's post, Moridin's post, and my back-and-forth with Kalas is making me feel like the game is pretty devoid of content still. Or I'm just too much of a nerd and am spending too much time on here today. I guess I should go bless some more children

Also: What's the deal with the GD claiming early? What's stopping the witches from just killing me to get my power out of the way? idgi.

Oh and just a note- I fucking hate read lists. If you want my opinions on people Waco, ask about specifics because it also gives me insight to you.

But the people that have jumped at me-

Fonti is trolling pretty hard and I haven't the slightest idea why. Might be role related but I cbf'd to overthink this.

You (wacko flacko kid), Newcomb, Citrus, and Moridin have seemed the most town to me at this point.

Lungs trolled and made some light fluff posts. Null.

Jan has seemed pretty troll but I don't know him well enough to be sure if it's a tell or not. Null for now.

Koalas is null too for reasons. If you ask I'm probably troll so I wouldn't bother.

    Von is Von.

I don't know the rest of these people~

Oh and Menace is a betrayer and should still be lynched.

I think I've shown here that I'm not comfortable with people saying things like "just for that, you can be town". Plus, I don't like how he didn't address anything that was going on directly above him (specifically, the me vs Snowvon interactions). I also don't like him asking for opinions on GD claim rather than explaining his own rationale behind it (for or against). In short, he ends up popping in and not actually saying anything. Could be from either alignment depending on the role and player temperament, but without reading further in the thread I'm marking him down as a tentative scumread.

Okay, I had some GD stuff also written up, but I see Cobalt now. I skimmed the thread to see if anything popped out, aside from that there's some other stuff (Kalas-Citrus mainly, also Fonti #270 but then Fonti's always weird in a mysterious sensei kind of way) but I don't have the time to go over the thread carefully right now. I'll be back in a bit to go further in depth, but I think I do like Citrus a little better. Not conclusive until I do a proper reread of everything, by the time there'll probably be more GD stuff so /shrug. Back in a few hours.

Also, given the number of townreads he has it's obvious I'm wrong and Snowvon isn't scum.

    He's Superscum. :fire
