Answer the fucking question! And add a full read-wall as well... So I can flip it backwards and solve the game

The thing is, I don't like this push against consensus town reads. Consensus townreads are great and terrifying to scum, when they're right and used to create a poe, as is happening here. It's one thing to attack a specific read (say the one of Cobalt, which is probably the weakest townread anyway) and another to cast doubt on an entire concept and spread confusion.

The problem I'm facing now is that I started off up until this point when I was busy and didn't have a lot of time to dedicate to the game, and I feel like any spike in my activity level is going to seem like scum adapting to what was said and trying to force town!Cobalt on you guys and I don't like the thought of that.

And if you continue doing what you're doing we're going to lynch you for being scummy via inactivity...

I don't like the thought of that either. How about you don't force anything and just try to solve the game without asking people who you should vote for or trying to give yourself an excuse to keep your activity low?

Last game you were the most vocal person in the game, you had opinions and you literally didn't care whose feathers you ruffled trying to push them.

This game you're going out of your way to not give a firm opinion about anything.

You're allowed to be different, as town, from game to game. You're allowed to try to solve the game in different ways, different styles.

You are not allowed to say "well I've been inactive, but I feel like you guys are going to read me as scummy for being active, so I'll just be inactive. That's towny, right?"

I mean you're allowed to say it, but now I think you're on the scum side of null instead of null.

I am just assuming that this was towards my post earlier.

Cobalt is not a consensus townread.

Noone is pushing Waco Citrus Von. I am not even pushing Newcomb, while not being sure about him myself.

Cobalt is and was never a hard townread by anyone. (that counts)

The point was not that i do not like the towncircle. I said that it felt to me a readslist like this :

    Town :
    Snowvon
    Waco
    Citrus
    (Newcomb)
    (Moridin)

    Scum :
    Jan
    Kalas

felt like something every 2nd person gave in here, and it felt to me that scum might be trying to go for the easy misslynch and noone cares.

I am not really afraid of dying anyway, but knowing I am town, that means 50%+ of the general scumreads are town.
If Kalas turns out to be town, it means all of those scumreads are false and some scum is most likely within those people that are just echoing the reads without giving their own good reasons.

I pointed out how bad fluffs reason for going on kalas was. Right now it all depends on Kalas for me.

Oh no, that's not what I'm doing.

I'm not saying, "well I've been inactive, but I feel like you guys are going to read me as scummy for being active, so I'll just be inactive. That's towny, right?"

I'm saying, "This is the dilemma I'm faced with of having been inactive so far, so once I start being active I don't want to hear it from y'all about having adjusted mid-phase because I was candid with you about it beforehand."

I have zero intention of remaining any sort of inactive.

As someone that's widely townread, but more because I'm the Priest, I ordain that Newcomb can be allowed into the town circle (still with CONSTANT VIGILANCE).

Mostly because of his linked images.

The interesting thing is there's a clear transition where Jan went from kinda-town read to scum-read over the past few pages. I'm not sure what that's indicative for. Town catching on to scum!Jan? Scum setting up town!Jan for the mislynch? Scum bussing scum!Jan? Town misreading town!Jan?

It's probably not a majority of scum bussing scum!Jan, and I doubt it's completely town misreading town!Jan either

I played one game with fluff. (Hannibalmafia)

He was a town pr and coasted all game because we had other lynches with higher priority.

He outed in final 5/6 and town wins because we had poe.

    This game:
After some pregame nonsense he started doing nothing again.
When prompted for reads he gave some reads that i just talked about.
I do not really like them, because the only reads he really commited to was 2 townreads on people everyone read town at that point and a kalas scumread (with kinda bad reasons for it)

I like him a bit more right now, because he is at least trying to talk to people.
But i do not have any metaread on him, which makes it hard to be sure.

I like 2/3 of the other people voting on him, that is a start.

He is leaning scum for me. There is a reason I have not switched my vote so far.

Unlikely for Cobalt and Lucky to die today (kinda sad), which means my scum right now is between Kalas, Lungs, Atum & Fluff.

I didnt like the way Lungs got back into the thread, just because it was hard for me to get anything out of it. I hope he stays and does something before the day ends.

Kalas just got back, I am leaning him a little bit more towny right now because I am paranoid about scum jumping on the one of kalas/jan is scum train.
But that is ever so slightly, and he might just be scum in the end.

Atum is just gone, and would be the most uninformed lynch to make at this point.

I trimmed the fat and this is what came out. Calls me snaky (be careful with your non-mafia approved adjectives, Newcomb will getcha if you throw those out too often), says I'm not being passive-aggressive (ayyy lmao) or self-righteous enough in response to my wagon, and pokes me for acknowledging that it's day one and sometimes people jump on scum tells that aren't really there.

Concludes by saying that low activity is indicative of town play. Seems pretty fuckin' solid, Lungsy.

In all seriousness, I haven't gotten particularly self-righteous about any of the votes against me because Luckylee voted me for RVS, Waco and Newcomb voted me for being afk, Newcomb's reasoning for keeping his vote on me is clownshoes, and I'm actually not sure why you're voting me. Beyond that, it's not my job to care about dying.

Thoughts on me aside, tell us how you really feel your opinions on everything else. That was a big post that boiled down to a single read.

I understand why you got upset with me for telling Fluff what to do now, Waco. I understand and I am sorry. Sigh.

If you've actually skimmed the whole thread then there's a helluva lot to talk about. I can sympathize with not wanting to sift through RVS in search of real soviet content, but RVS has been over and done with for two full days now. Post something.

On the upside we have 27 hours left, more than enough time for people to actually play the game.

Alright I'm completely caught up, I'm going to make some supper and let my Citrus thoughts settle into a post but I think there's enough there to determine alignment with some input.

Some thoughts: Tempus should not be anywhere above null, fonti saying otherwise concerns me. Moridin is almost definitely town, the only scum scenario I'm seeing at the moment is in a team with Citrus. The me/Jan scum dichotomy is terrible and is leading to some very anti town thought processes.
