I read Citrus and you town all game.
I said I liked her reaction, which gives her townpoints. (she also finally did something more than nothing)

Funny enough, I isoed her earlier and she did one more thing that i didnt realize beforehand that gave her townpoints.
She was actually the first person to openly townread you, i thought before she was one of many people to do so, because I already townread you there and felt it was kinda obvious.
When I read it earlier I went back like 2 pages and noone had said it before.
So she swayed Moridin from going harder on you, which was kinda disruptive for town, since you were both kinda towny for it, but continuing it would be most likely fruitless.


And I told you guys that I would vote on Atum

sounds like a troll, but it was kinda serious in its core.

Okay, sorry for my disappearance. I tried to check in and keep abreast of the thread, but I've clearly failed spectacularly. I'm not sure I understand where Atum's wagon came from - the post was pretty crummy, but he got five votes in one hour (fake edit: and now another), which feels pretty strange tbh. Especially coupled with the lack of accompanying pressure to add on to his reads or anything.

If I wasn't townreading Citrus I'd be really unhappy with #527 (target designated) but as it stands I'm not quite sure what to make of it, given that I like how he's been for the rest of the game. I'm definitely not happy with Newcomb's and Menace's votes - Newcomb especially goes from asking for Fontisian's reasoning to just voting Atum with nothing but a witty pic, notable when nothing Fontisian said tied Atum to anything outside his own post.

I don't like Kalas' evaluation of Tempus Fugit at #548, that along with #535 feels overly nitpicky and defensive of him. He also doesn't make much effort to analyze scum interactions further e.g. he talks about Citrus' suspicious moves towards Fonti, but doesn't segue into a push on Fonti through that, keeping the focus on Citrus. That feels like he's pushing a case for the sake of making one, rather than trying to scout out a potential scumteam.

Lucky, could you give your opinions on people who aren't Citrus/Snowvon?

Lungs, what's your opinion on Menace now?

Yes, I'm leaning scum on Newcomb. Otherwise, not really, I really just skimmed the game to catch up, and used some of the interactions that stuck out to me to develop some early reads. Still playing catch-up over here.

And I don't know where this buddying thing's coming from, I was trying to be a little passive agressive about the fact that you kept tossing out alerts at me when I clearly wasn't in the thread or even on the site. But again, many thanks.

Nah, fluff is null and I don't get why he was one of the highest wagons, especially given the discontent around lurkers and players like Lee and Lungs. Of course, now he's not, so that's an interesting development.

This hasn't been town!fonti. Your play in Narutomafia as compared to toDay, is day and night. That fontisian actually thought she wouldn't make it to D2; she explained her thoughts and reads, and tried to instruct town to compensate.

Deadline's coming up and I'm not going to be able to be super active in the runup to it tomorrow, although I will guaranteed be here for the last ~hour.

Here's where I'm at in the game, broadly speaking.

Snow and Waco are town. Never lynching them today.

Citrus, I have some vague stirrings of discontent relating to his lack of paranoia over me (considering last game). It's there, like, he did say it a few times, but that's just it - he said it. Lip service. No push, no real investigation into my alignment, and just a hint of buddying over the GIFs and images. (Although I really hope you genuinely like them either way, Citrus, because, you know, I think they're funny.)

It's also setting off some alarm bells the way his posts have this kind of "I am the town circle" subliminal message.

That said, I still think he's town. Just... something to keep in mind for like D3/D4 if he's still alive and I'm not.

Jan... fuck, I dunno. I thought a lot of his early posts were hollow. Lacking conviction. The Jan/fonti thing is just, bleh. Someone please untangle it for me. Jan's townreading fonti now, it looks like, so apparently she did whatever secret wink meta tell they have going on.

It feels like Jan's playing Mafia with the rest of us, and like Mafia 2.0 with fonti. That's the best way I can describe it.

fonti was null up until she went hard at Atum, and she scored major townpoints with me because we basically mind-melded there. I read Atum's big re-entry post, it set off all kinds of alarm bells, fonti naked-voted Atum and called him a witch, and I was just like, "that's it, explain yourself." And when she did, it basically put into words what I hadn't put into words yet. I'm giving fonti a hard pass for D1 for sheer thought-sameness.

The less I say about Luckylee the better. His approach to the game is pretty selfish, IMO. I don't have a read on him other than I don't trust him further than I can throw him.

Lungs, I really thought I'd caught in a big way with his "town should give reasons for things" combined with his "Moridin is town for Reasons lol" thing a few days ago. However, I thought his explanation, when prompted, was pretty good, and aligned pretty well with what I myself think of Moridin. I don't want to lynch Lungs today.

Kalas, you're probably going to hate me for this either way, but when you made that huge post at Citrus, I just kinda skimmed it. I promise I'll read it before deadline tomorrow, because it looked like you had good content, or at least a good chance to catch you if you're a witch. Right now where I'm at with Kalas is: you're not a townread, and some of my townreads scumread you. You're not my choice for a lynch toDay, but I don't think I'd cry if you got run up. If it's not clear from the super-great read I have here, Kalas is definitely my most wishy-washy / "why can't I get a feel for this guy" read in the game right now.

Maybe it's that I've never seen your town game? Dunno.

Menace I think is a witch this game, and I'd like to see him lynched today. He can dismiss my arguments as "clownshoes" all he wants. I think if Menace were town, he would be considering my alignment and not just brushing me off. I really, really didn't like the way he followed me onto Atum. It makes me think I'm wrong on one of them, and I don't like being wrong.

his fluffiness I was null on when people were pushing him, maybe the town side of null for meta reasons (similarity to Hannibal mafia). I think he's fallen off for me lately because I see him defending himself more than I see him scumhunting, and I didn't really see him doing much of the latter anyway.

Tempus I have to struggle to remember his posts. I don't think he's made much of an impact on this game. If he's town, he'll step it up at some point, I hope? If he's scum, he'll get quickly PoE'd for doing nothing and not pushing anything, so I'm content to just let him resolve himself, at least at this particular moment.

Moridin I think is fairly to moderately town, for reasons outlined in this thread by Citrus, and Lungs of all people. I liked Citrus's logic of why scum!Moridin would have no incentive to get into a fight with town!Snowvon that early, and I can't really see scum!Snowvon, so I can't really see scum!Moridin outside of really sinister tinfoil worlds

Cobalt is the Gravedigger. His content and thread presence today make me really disinclined to trust his information on D2, so I'm wondering why everyone's just content to let him coast? Like - are we really going to be comfortable tomorrow when he's like, "yeah, that guy was totes a witch. That red check on my buddy has to be a Demon swap!"? I get why it's tough to lynch the claimed GD D1, mechanically, but isn't part of the reason why he claims so that town can get a good read on him? That hasn't happened, and me being the only one yelling about it is freaking me out. I'm close to pushing a world where witch!Cobalt has partners intentionally kicking up dust to distract us from what seems like a really, really key thing here.

Atum is just a witch. In particular:

Hannibal mafia taught me one thing about myself: I think personally, my best scum detection method is seeing how people push on me. For example: Moridin's push on me this game I think comes from a towny mindset, much like ScottPress in Hannibal Mafia. Like - wrongheaded, not seeing some things, but the approach is good. Atum's approach here is just... flat-out bad. It's more than wrong, it's just mudslinging. Painting, not solving. All that stuff. He's just a witch.

tl;dr: Please don't lynch anyone I called town. I'm open to negotiation on people I did not call town. I am currently voting Atum and feel pretty good about it. I will not be around much tomorrow but will 100% be around in the leadup to deadline.

Wait, so witches do have daychat? Okay, that changes things. Off the top of my head, Cobalt and Lucky come off worse in a re-analysis. A lot of interactions between Fonti and Citrus, among others, become a little more benign.
