This is made even worse with the knowledge that at least 150 of the 'played' games were never actually played, just run through AutoIdler while I was away to harvest steamcards (managed to sell a few hundred USD worth before values tanked), putting the actual 'not played' percentage at a minimum of 93%.

Heh, it's mostly the bundles that get you. Games that'd you never play but you think, fuck it, it's only a dollar for like 6 games. Why not?

 

I've never actually bought a bundle without at least 2 games I can convince myself I'd like to try at some point, since below that it's generally cheaper to just buy the key for the one I want off someone on CAG with an extra.

Upside is less generic indie 'retro' platformer and RPGMaker trash clogging my library, downside is I can't blame the majority of this on bloat from 1-5 dollar bundles.

It's when things that look vaguely decent hit ~4.99 that gets me. "That's just the cost of a pint, and I'd buy and finish one of those in seconds, so why not?"

 

Every bundle I buy I tell myself I'm gonna play at least a couple of em. But then I end up distracted by the million other entertainments I have.

 

Yeah, that's how I justified a lot of my game buying back when RU pricing was still a thing.

Dying Light preorder for $15? Why not. Shadow of Mordor + SP Preorder for $20? Welp, it looks awesome, I'm in. And so on.

Satisfied with this. My new years resolution was to not buy any games until I had at least tried all 489 games I currently have. So as you can see I'm just about past the halfway mark.

Too bad 90% of the games I've tried so far were shit, but I guess that's what I get for buying bundles.

 

Some of the original Bundles were pretty awesome but now it's mostly disappointing even the new Humble Bundle which was released.

 

There's only so many good games they can put into bundles before everyone has them

 

I think I have one of the best average play time for a single game
