I'm town.

Fluff is town because of holy claim, Waco is town because he got shot during the Night + one of Atum's interactions point toward him being town.

I initially didn't like Moridin's first post (as he pointed out three people but didn't actually vote them) but I've liked most of his posts since then since he started pressuring Snowvon. His analysis has a ton of genuine parts to it and the Atum interaction where he townread Moridin felt like Atum already knew he was town.

Newcomb's town because townie declarations on first post tend to be more accurate than not (plus his second post felt really genuine as well as self-aware), and he's actually putting in work here as opposed to TH where he just coasted on early game townreads.

font mostly gets points for snap-voting Atum, but other than that I hadn't really liked what she's done here. She's just mostly one-linering and feels very different from the font I used to play with. I was just about to case her until I saw the Atum vote, which I think mostly clears her? She has done D1 busses in the past, but the game I checked had a vastly different situation than this one. The way she did it in this game felt more natural. So, townread for now, but I dislike the one liners and I might revisit this read down the line.

I had a long section where I was scumreading Menace but then I read his posts in more detail and then I realized that he's doing more than 95% of the thread. He's providing reads lists, pressuring his suspects (Kalas and Cobalt) and actively scumhunting. I've never seen his scum game outside of Battle School (where he was neutral, and god that game was all the way back) so I don't really know what to expect, but he seems cool for now.

Luckylee/Snowvon/Kalas is the PoE pile, and admittedly the pile I haven't been paying close attention to. Luckylee just basically stopped playing the game after he claimed DoB, and I'm trying to figure out what scum!Lucky gains from doing that. Don't think he slung mud at anyone this game though, which is normally a scum!Lucky trait.

I'm mostly relying on font to read Snowvon because I've never seen his scumgame and I can't really remember anything he's done other than the quotewar with Moridin. I do plan on combing over his posts later, but all I seem to be getting from the thread is that "he's active, we're all townreading him because meta, wee hee!" which is not something I like to rely on.

Kalas feels different from last game but again didn't pay much to. I haven't remembered a single thing Tempus Fugit has posted.

Reading through Atum interactions again makes me feel like he basically hasn't interacted with his buddies at all.

Tempus reminds me more of scum!newb than town!newb. He hasn't really pressured anyone this game at all. He scumreads Jan and Kalas but doesn't actually vote them. He has very "fly on the wall" posting where he posts but his posts don't actually influence the game.

Yup. I'm more concerned about the Judge but Hunter is also a concern, it's what I meant by more mechanically unsound. I don't have good role reads on either, I assumed you knew more then me.

 

I wouldn't be adverse to a judge claim, for reasons. Feeling a bit better about Kalas, though.

I also have some trouble seeing Tempus going for Gravedigger if he were on a scumteam with Survivalist!Kalas and not the Judge.

 

I think I'm fine with the plan though I'd like to behavior-check Kalas since it's possible we can just clear him off of that.

Yeeeeeah, I think I'm going to need a Hunter claim before we enact Plan Koalas. I want to be able to hold them accountable for the shot tonight, as well as make sure they're on board with the plan to begin with. The LAST thing we want is people going off-script.

I disagree with you on Menace - do you have any opinion on my accusation that he TMI-spewed me town? - but the way you phrased your read is fairly to moderately town, IMO.

That being said, would you mind going into a bit more detail on your townread of me? It seems a little light on the substance. Like, the "saying you're town with your first post is more likely to come from town," eh, maybe maybe not, but even if that's objectively true, that + "seems gamvesolvey" doesn't really jibe with listing me as your second-highest townread after the clears.

Also: I would be very interested in you following up on this:

I like the idea of a pair of fresh eyes looking at the content of his posts.

Kalas's plan includes us Judge lynching him D4 if he survives the night, so he's kind of a self-resolving problem either way.

But if we don't Judge lynch Kalas today, he'll survive no matter his alignment, and what if Hunter is dead or scum? And what if Lucky's scum? Like. This version of the plan has too much ambiguity.

The thing I like about lynching Lucky is that it hard-confirms his alignment.

 

Let's say we judge lynch Kalas toDay, have the hunter claim and shoot Luckylee and have shoot Tempus. The hunter or Lucky could shoot elsewhere, and we get a scum either way (probably two scum in the case of the hunter). If the game continues after that, we probably just lynch Menace and Proph for the win. We have the numbers.

 

Does anyone have a scum game of Atum's for me to look into? My gut reaction is that he didn't mention his buddies at all, but I want to check.

I really liked your accusation before I looked at all of his posts again. Part of the reason why I was scumreading him before I reread him was due to gut, and you seemed to share the bad sinking vibe I had with his big post.

The thing with Menace is that he's playing a textbook townie game when the rest of the game isn't. He's pushing people, he's using townie language, he's scumhunting. He's speaking my language and even though I have a slight suspicion he might be scum (hence why he's at the bottom) I'd rather clear out the nullreads/scumreads first.

I liked your two posts where you looked through Tempus's posts (tried to reconcile a weird townread, you wouldn't do that if Tempus was your scumbuddy) and had that Day 1 end of day reads post which personally I found super helpful when catching up.

Unsure if I could get to Snowvon soon, though. He has a ton of posts. We'll see.

 

This seems workable. Judge and hunter would have to claim for accountability but I feel like that'd be happening anyway.

Judge reveals. Hunter reveals. If both reveal proceed.

-> If Judge is trustworthy Koalas gets Judge lynched, anything else is a scum claim. Hunter fires into Ruckyree, anyone else is a scum claim. Ruckyree shoots into Tempus, anyone else means confirmed scum.

--> If Judge is not trustworthy lynch Ruckyree who shoots into Koalas. Anyone else is confirmed scum. If Rucky shoots into Koalas, Hunter shoots their scummiest pick between Tempus and Koalas, anything else is a scum claim. Lynch the remainder of the two.

Plan looks good to me, but then I'm not good enough with mechanics to spot any flaws. Newcomb's seemed townish so far, though, so depending on the Hunter reveal I think we should be fine with this.
