What do you think of me nursing Newcomb?

 

Just want to double check something first:

Are you sure 1 and 2 are good reasons? I don't think the "voting after scumbuddies" is a decent enough tell and 1 is.. I mean, fine, but D2 was mostly focused on Atum and D1 Newcomb didn't go super gung-ho on Menace from what I remember.

I want to lean towards plays that basically reduce the number of outs we can give to scum.

Scumbuddies tend to vote after each other when 1.one if new and the other very experienced, 2.when they're experienced enough to know that it's a disassociation thing (and I don't think Menace is) and 3. When they've hard aligned anyway in late game. I don't think any of those apply.

For the first point, I guess bussing is possible, but considering Atum, that seems like a really bus heavy team for no reason.

And, I mean, I been strongly townreading Newcomb for a while now, which is something I /never/ did in his scum game (despite all the people saying how well he played) and I want to trust that read. And if I'm right, and I think I am, this probably wins the game.

 

All of the above makes sense. And as I'd like to get some end of day thoughts together before Day actually ends I'll be hammer.

Yeah, fonti, I feel weird being like "pick me, pick me!", but, uh, pick me. I have a role that can win the game instead of lose it with equal witch/town numbers, and I'm town, so dissuading scum from hitting me or at least making it so they need to do it twice is good.

If not me, I'd go for Waco. He's basically confirmed town at this point, and scum already took at shot at him once, so they wanted him gone for some reason.
