If this show has proven anything to me...is that I need a show following David Mazous as Bruce Wayne traveling the world and learning to be Batman.

It's getting a bit old watching Robin Taylor get slapped around. We get that he's arrogant and is clever. It's time for him to learn from his mistakes.

Ben Mckenzie is doing well with the script but he's plateaued slightly for me. Donald Logue is easily the best actor for me atm. Consistently great.

I'd like to reiterate that Gordon ends up naming his daughter after her.

    Nah, not creepy at all...

    A bit, yeah.

I kind of dig whenever they show that his character has unexpected depth or genuine detective skill (rather than just street smarts and contacts). And, hey, he's one of those (somewhat) rare beasts in the business of live action comics: He's been in Marvel and DC productions. Considering his most obvious company, there, would be Ryan Reynolds, Logue's lookin' pretty damned successful in that regard.

Tell me if I'm imagining things: Was it just me, or was that 'Joker' kid's voice, when he started revealing how nuts he was, very reminiscent of the Mark Hamill Joker?

I think he was putting on a bit of Hamill, there... just a touch.

Yeah, I think that's a Hamill thing where his voice begins softly and increases steadily to a more harsh laugh. It's been in the comics but it's hard to express a change in volume beyond bolder and larger text when you're dealing with The Joker's laugh. If he is The Joker, he better be tall when he grows up. Same with Mazouz. I want my Batman and Joker to be at least 6'1 out of shoes.

The actor is 21, "the Joker", so I doubt he will grower noticeably taller.

I do like him on Shameless.

Looks fairly young. I don't know who he is so I assumed he was younger. Decent shoes could make him just over 6 foot, which would be decent.

Seriously, she was one of my least favorite parts of the entire show.

I -really- hope penguin kills her. It makes sense for his story. Plus...

    Penguins eat fish.

Premier of season 2 was bretty bad. Terrible dialogue and the same pacing issues.

I don't understand this Barbara thing. Like, did they have this planned from the beginning?

Based on the shitshow that was the last season, I can't imagine the Gotham's creative team planned where they're at now—not from the beginning any way. I think they've had to really change things in response to audience and critical reaction to the show. But I like that Barbara is actually sort of a character now so that's good.

So far season two is much better than season one for me. Not amazing, though. I'd say the Arrow at its weakest is still a better show. But it's gotten better and right now that's enough to keep me watching.

Bullock needs to become a detective again so we get more Gordon/Bullock shenanigans.

He needs to grow as an actor. Some of his parts, I thought, were over-acted. That's not to take away from his overall work. I'd guess he studied both Jack Nicholson and Heath Ledger's characters and took some of the best from them both. Overall I'm really liking the actor's abilities. But, like I said, there are little parts here and there where it feels a tad over-the-top in a way that makes the character more cartoonish than the context of the show itself.
