PAIN GAMING HAS WON MORE GAMES THEN LGD.

 

Fnatic disrespecting C9 so much with that Yasuo top pick, deserved to lose for that.

CLG losing to KOO is somewhat expected, and I'd rather have them playing their Tiltage match at this point when they have good games to pick it back up against Pain and Flash wolves next week than in the playoffs.

Origen is looking very good at the moment. Such crisp movement around the map and very good usage of the pressure they create. And Xpeke has found his worlds form, so I think they can go far, provided they don't fall second in the group and can avoid SKT.

 

Maybe... Or maybe a 7th seed NA team is better then a undefeated EU Team.

 

Well that's three games. There's still 4 games that might be fun to watch. But who knows, there might be a surprise in the knockouts.

 

I don't know what's happening anymore, this seems to be the most hilarious worlds ever.

Did I miss anything super exciting Saturday? I was out all day/night so didn't see any of it.

 

SKT vs EDG was, before the tournament started, billed as the potential finals (If both teams make it out, which is likely, they can only meet again in the finals due to how the brackets work, and they were both considered strongest in their region, and their regions were considered top 2). It was a good match, and definitely showcased some amazing play and is worth watching.

BKT vs H2K went about as expected. Had Morde though, showed why he's been banned every other game til then.

LGD vs KTR wasn't exciting.

Origin vs TSM featured Anivia, which was cool.

IG vs C9 is worth watching.

AHQ vs Fnatic featured a Tahm Kench. If you can't get excited for unbench the Kench, I dunno whats even worth it anymore.



Every day at this worlds so far, all four of them, have been awesome. Hell, Day 1 was the LEAST exciting I'd say.

No but seriously, the games so far have been super lulzy. This Worlds is full of dank memes so far. Watch them.

 

Seemed like the last fight in the Fnatic/C9 game was a mixture of everything going right/wrong depending on whose side you're on. Incarnation Azir ults Febiven & Rekkles into their own tower, Reignover Grag ults Balls into them and then Balls just dumpsters all of Fnatic's damage instantly.

Some great plays on both sides, unfortunately for Fnatic their draft was awful (Yasuo vs Darius? Really? I get they wanted a sexy looking wombo but hi there Morgana, it would be a shame if you used 3 of your 4 spells to fuck up Fnatic's day) and frankly Cloud 9 were better.

This Worlds is nutty and I love it, just not sure what part I love more - The predicted stompers getting stomped (especially LGD, what the hell are they doing?), upsets all around (FW > Pain, TSM > LGD, hell, AHQ > Fnatic to eat my own fucking words about LMS teams being under-rated), nobody coming out looking great aside from SKT and arguably Origen who by the way are putting on a clinic; especially Niels. Rookie in Worlds and playing this well? Unreal. xPeke's showing up too and well, you can't hate the guy.

Worst part now will be waiting for Thursday and the conclusion to groups, though thankful I booked this week off work and my plans fell through. 4 Days of League? Yes please.

 

I think the Yasuo pick was meant for mid, and Azir ruined that and made them put it top.

I thought CLG 3 - 0 TSM was dank but that was merely a light shower before the storm that is Worlds.

Well CLG are certainly getting styled on... Unbench the Kench doing wonders here. CLG have literally no peel, I mean they have Braum but he's not gonna save you from Elise, Darius & Tahm Kench.
