Feel the same way about AT, it's kinda dull imo. But I agree you shouldn't dismiss out of hand - other cartoons can be pretty great. Personally I rather like Gravity Falls.

 

Adventure Time was becoming "Relationship Time" last I knew.

I've only seen a few clips of Rick and Morty, but I might have to add it on my list.

 

I didn't realize this was the last damn episode. I was really excited that they came back strong after a couple of lackluster episodes as well.

Why the hell is this only 10 episodes long anyways?

Have to say, DLP turned me onto this show, and it's freaking awesome. Somehow it has a way of putting gravity and depth into, well, a cartoon.

Oh god This show is amazing and it needs more episodes. The ending was awesome. Loved the tiny planet bit.

Man, originally I didn't want to get into Rick and Morty, but I watched it recently and this last episode was just sad... I can't wait till season 3.

 

Really digging the cover of 'Hurt' played at the end of the episode. Also it was good to see Mr Poopybutthole back I thought it was weird that we hadn't heard from him since he was shot.

 

Holy shit really? haha that is amazing..it would have been perfect if they weren't associated with the government though.

so this galactic government spans all realities? I'm assuming so..since the time travelling scrotum worked for them.

 

Who has apparently been living on Earth, after appearing with no bad memories, recovering for some reason.

It's a real trip when end credits are a part of the continuity.

 

Awesome episode, no doubt.

That cliffhanger tho. Dammit!

I hope the resolution to this arc involves Evil Morty in some form. I think it'd be kinda interesting, especially consider the trajectory of our Morty's development.

 

That was actually the original by Nine Inch Nails. It fit well I think.

I really dig how this show has serious and deep undercurrents, while still being random and funny. I think that's one of the things that sets Rick and Morty above most adult cartoons.

Really looking forward to Morty and Summer breaking Rick out of the intergalactic prison.

 

Just burned through the entire run.

Holy fuck this is a good show.

It was pretty consistently good, and it finished strong, except that, god damn, the 3rd to last episode was just bad. The one that was just them watching a bunch of random alien cable shows? Ugh.

However, it was immediately followed by the Purge episode, and it's been a while since I laughed that hard when it came to the the various "Feels Good" killing sprees.

"You like that? You want me to cut to three weeks earlier, when you were alive?!"

fucking LOL.

And that last episode... yep, that's a Thing.

 

So my best friend and I have been watching this show since trailer 1 (he checked it out because he knows that I love Dan Harmon because of Community and called me to tell me about it)

We both assumed that this season was 11 episodes since last season was.

I think it was the moment where the first couple bars of Hurt played where we both stopped saying things like "oh shit next week is prison break" and "this is amazing setup"

We basically just stared at the TV as the original "Hurt" played.

That was so fucking good and I'm so fucking NOT GOOD with the show just doing this
