None, I know how they end and the major plot points. They are very flat after the first read.

 

My list seconds a Black Comedy and Browncoat, Green Eyes.

Then, I'd add on:

Fight For The Lost and sequels. A Mass Effect novelization. Great.

Interstitum, Mass Effect story that fills in the gaps, as it were. It's the standard to which I judge fanfiction, if I'm honest. And I love it more with every re-read.

These were my classic go-to fics. There are a few others I've reread as many times as some of these, but none of them quite hold the sense of wonder these did.

 

Just depends.

Sometimes it's TLIL if I want to kill time and enjoy a story without thinking too hard about it. If I want a seriously depressing fic I'll go back and read Dumbledore's Army and the Year of Darkness.

Otherwise, I find myself re-reading my fics every few months. I do it in case I have plot-points I've dropped.

Oh, here's a little twist. Maybe I should stick this in the review. Don't know how well it'd fare, but it's definitely a different take on Fleur... Strangers with Familiar Faces.

Of course, then there's the shut off the brain completely and read for the sake of immersion. Despite the problems, I've found White Knight, Grey Queen and a few other of Jeconais's fics are good for that.

 

I've read Seventh Horcrux like 6 times. Never fails to entertain me.

I do reread a lot of fanfics because it's become increasingly more difficult to find quality stories.

 

The history filtering method doesn't work too well for me, since I read on multiple devices. Fortunately, I know my list. None of mine are HP fics, and most of them would be <2.5 stars, so don't take these as recommendations. It's just proof of my shit taste.

Read them both half a dozen times already. I just love the writing style and the authorial voice. The pacing, the dry humor, the impactful one-liners: all of it. The characterization of the main character is amazing, and it is always very satisfying to watch a character grow from a kid to a mature leader over the years, something both fics do extremely well.

 

Love Interstitium, amazing story.

Delenda Est is a Guilty Pleasure, Game of Champions and Under the Same Sky outside HP Fanfics.

Only other one I can think of is What You Leave Behind, it's a great AU.
