Ok, so in light of Demonturtle being very likely to be town. 3 scum in a 16 player game is just laughably unbalanced, unless super tilted roles or something in which case the first scum flip would clearly key us in (or multiple deaths at night). I have also yet to see a non-experienced player EVER dumb-tell on town v. scum numbers and turn out to be scum.

That said, I think some of her posts were relatively scummy in retrospect especially

So conclusion is Demonturtle is looking in hindsight like a pretty good target for a mislynch from scum PoV. I would wager it's a slight town-tell if someone read Demonturtle as town and a slight scum-tell if someone read her as scum (obviously not everyone took a strong stance on her early on and obviously scum aren't going to pile 3-on or avoid her completely).

There's probably a decent chance one of these is scum. It may not be as indicative on Titus since she had some direct interactions leading up to her vote (claiming scum and declaring it was a scum-trap etc.), and don't think it's Blor, so potentially pointing at Plotless here.

Some newbies are dumb-telling (at least Demonturtle did), and some feel pretty good tonally (Tempus, Blorcyn). If you disagree with one of these then say so specifically and why

Liked that you pointed out TMNT's #124 specifically, because she defended Demonturtle slightly, which I think is a small towntell. Don't like your read on Fontisian because you seem to be giving her a pass, you even realize that she may be pocketing new players and then you go "eh well" and slight townread her. You also have Snowvon down too low imo for what he's posted thus far.

I strongly agree that Demonturtle and Plotless are unaligned. You have them both in orange-tier (Hah!) with me, which do you think is more likely to be scum?

I've had a bunch of games in a row now where I've had massive trouble getting past the first day/night cycle and it's starting to really bother me. I was genuinely considering hard-trolling for D1, and ended up deciding not to because I didn't want to accidentally drag Newcomb's game into crap-territory.

Fontisian didn't just vote me, she went pretty far to try and gain credibility from the newer players in that post before pushing a pretty strong vote on me. The only other reason I can think of is she wanted to immediately drag me into the spotlight this game and reaction-test me, but then I think she would have done the latter half without the earlier half.

School's been very busy recently, I literally shouldn't even be spending time here right now. I'm pretty much staying up extra late tonight to work and this is adding to that end-time. If I think it's going to be a continuous problem, I'll just replace out.

I do get a dodgy read off your long post above. You focus exhaustively on why demonturtle's town and I'm not sure I buy your reasoning. Furthermore, when you quoted me, you ignored the bit about you and demonturtle's conversation. You haven't really addressed this suspicion of you coaching her in any detail - and I'd be pretty easily persuaded. Rubs me the wrong way.

It does read like you're trying to divert on to whoever you can.

Well she's got the largest wagon AND I don't understand how people scumread her after that. Like I said, I have yet to /ever/ see someone newish dumbtell about balance mechanics and ever turn out to be informed (scum).

I don't really know what you're looking for as far as potentially coaching goes? I wanted to prompt her and get more words out of her on the subject. The assumption you'd have to make if I were 'coaching' her is that both of us are scum, but then wouldn't it be much more likely she'd say something awkward or our dialogue would look more forced etc.? Unless you're saying you think it does, but I think if I were looking at it as a 3rd party observer I still wouldn't think so so *shrug*

To be fair, I'm slowly coming around to the viewpoint of Snowvon town and one or more of TMNT/Evil and Elemental being scum. It seems a bit too easy since they all disappeared and are pretty much just lurking, but I do think newb scum might get a bit intimidated after a bit a pressure and am not sure what to post.

demonturtle, regardless of whether it was a joke or not, answer my question please. Why is it a suspicious thing to do? Additionally, surely now after two more days of thinking about it you have more reads? What about Citrus and fontisian? Or the start of the sudden Jan wagon?
