Didn't really care about what server I started on once I got back; still had a few million credits on that server from the last time I played so it seemed as good a place as any.

If you'd rather play on another server, I'm not as far ahead that restarting would bother me in the slightest. Maybe link up with Jjf88 on Jedi Covenant while we're at it?

Just realised that Jedi Covenant is a US based server - it doesn't really matter to me since I'm not intending to do any sort of high-end gaming here, the ping isn't awfully bad for me either at around 200 ms.

However I am going out of town for a week, I'll come back to this thread once I'm back in town.

 

Opened a jedi consular called Ochs in Jedi Covenant. Are we gonna do both of the factions?

 

I'm fine with either or both; I created an agent there called 'Skalman'. If you're doing a consular I'll make either a Trooper or a Jedi Knight, depending if Jjf88 joins and lets me sneak peaks at that class story aswell

I'm probably going to be on tomorrow at some point and don't mind helping out. Jedi Knight storyline is pretty awesome, I'm preferring the Sith Sorcerer one atm (Name's Ged with an accented e, won't let me alt code it in) and Republic>Imperial in warzones (PvP, you're all scaled to level 55)

 

I've got 6 level 55s on Jedi Covenant, and 3 others. I might start playing again this week. And I have a strong guild on both imp and rep side.

As for story, Best I've had in order are Agent, Bh, SW, JK, Smuggler, SI, Consular, Trooper.

 

So the trailer for the next story expansion dropped. And they managed to find the one thing left in this corner of the EU to still make me drool. Seriously considering buying this JUST for this expansion.

Unless you're talking about subs in which case I'd say try it out just see if you like it.

I got sucked back in. Levelled a fresh Op to 55 and capped my Jugg, PT ans SS as well.

Put in a story and have decent-excellent customization options in any game and I'm hooked.

HK-51 mission was a blast too. Treek is adorable.

Not really. Coffee is a return to "single player story experience"

Which means that "class" stories arent structured that differently. Largely see the same cutscenes outside of obvious(force power options with force users)

Decided to come back and finish all the class story arcs and replay the ones I've finished already. We'll see if I go all the way to max level or just the original class arcs when I've done it twice to see if it's different.

 

Makeb is the Hutt Cartel planet if I recall correctly?

Never got past the original storylines so far, we'll cross that hurdle when we come to it I suspect. If the class arcs are different with this new expansion I think it'd be worth drudging through a dull planet.

 

Once you get out of the original class stories the remaining content is pretty much the same overarching plot. There are references back to things you did in your class story and some things have more weight depending on the class but over all its the same.

Playing through the new expansion right now and I am in Chapter 8 and I am not sure if I am liking it or not, feels....hurried? Perhaps not the exact word I am looking for but to me it feels a lot like a single player game and even 8 chapters in still feels like just the opening levels to a game. I think my biggest issue is that it doesn't feel like a MMO anymore.
