Huh. A win for SKT, sure, but Game 1 was nowhere near the stomp everyone (including me) expected. OG got all the way to inhibs, and matched SKT quite a bit until the last two plays where they fell apart.

Let's see if it was a fluke or not.

Iunno, I didn't find SKT as oppressive as apparently everybody else. They won in the end, but they were down quite a few times, wern't they? Or maybe I misremembered something.

Overall it was a classic Origen game. Some brilliant plays, some mistakes, Niels is crazy.
They just happened to lose this time.

It was Origen's game to lose, and lose it they did. Amazing in particular had a lot of terrible plays (like diving to his death instead of grabbing the free dragon) and soaz was a bit too off on his flash/ulti engages.

They did a good job getting ahead. The baron sneak was huge, and allowed them what will probably be their best chance at beating SKT. Most of their plays after that were mired with hesitation and bad positioning/decisions.

Edit: Game 2 is much closer to what I'd imagined would happen.

Well, Origen are just rolling over & dying at this point. Can't fault SKT, they've played immaculately after the first game and even then they turned the game on its head.

OG though, just... I cannot comprehend the decisions they made. Marin's gone tanky Renekton? Lets try and 3 vs 1 him with no vision of his team-mates, what, 4 times in game 2?

And this game 3, SoaZ doing what he does best. Not that it's solely his fault, Amazing seems to have regressed over the series. Died a couple of times for no reason and massively over-extending.

Oh well, hopefully FNC can put up against KOO tomorrow and at least help to avoid an all Korean final.

Amazing did a lot better game 3 imo. Origen was just too inconsistent while SKT just continously picked up steam.

Origen: For every two good plays they make they make a bad one.

It was enough to get them to the semifinals. Better then many famed teams.

So ... what happens when SKT wins? DO both Faker and Easyhoon count as winners? How do subs work with the 'Hall of Fake' as it were?

I'm sure they'd count all six players as having won worlds. They'd probably make a skin for each of them, you can't really say either of them haven't contributed to their games.

It wasn't Eazyhoon. They brought out Faker to end out the series on game 3.

More like broke their baguette and ran it through the dirt.

Today's the day, the final hope for to avoid an all Korean final. Regardless of whoever wins this BO5, I just hope they can put up a fight against SKT. I don't want to watch another SSW vs Royal - though on the plus side I don't have to be up at 5am to watch it this year if it does happen.

Edit: Zac made it to Worlds, I'm happy.

That play with the tower dive where Fnatic completely threw the game?

They had a freaking pink ward in the brush that somehow missed the ward that spotted them all running down the river.

Just looking at the numbers, this game went more or less as expected.

Btw, how funny would it be if KOO won it all? Not exactly likely for obvious reasons, but nobody would have expected that.
