I'm at 3400 total. We'll see what tomorrow brings. Or later today, rather.

Currently at 3000 words but planning another couple of hours of writing.

I also chose November as the month I'd cut back on things like coke and potato chips and bacon and egg rolls ... maybe not my best decision?

Those things are good for quick bursts of writing, sure. But you'd get a more sustained burn ofrom some broccoli, hard boiled eggs, and pieces of good fish. Not as glamorous, I know, but healthy!

    Well, thank you very much.
I sat down 3 hours ago to get some work done. Instead, I saw this thread and wrote 1781 words for a new story.
So, it's 8.45 pm, and I'll have to work for at least another few hours.
Today's gonna be a very long day ;)

Yeah healthy, but coke and bacon and egg rolls just taste so damn good. Broccoli not so much, though I do like fish but suck at cooking it.

Finally at 3000 and calling it quits for the night. Now, time to do my actual homework.

    PCR is...polymerase chain reaction?

I managed to do 1820 words today (or I suppose yesterday) on just a little over an hour and a half of writing. I'm still "in the hole" about 1000 words because I got off to a bit of a bad start at the beginning of the month. I've got a couple of extra hours tomorrow so I hope to be able to zero that out.

Also: if anyone else is having time management issues, I'm using a "Pomodoro Technique" timer (specifically the free version of the XWaveSoft timer) this year. I think it's working pretty well, though I'm taking a little bit longer than five minute "short breaks."

Did around 2000 words today, for a cumulative total of 8307. I feel pretty good. I've been doing this everyday now.

I'm using Penflip, I like the git style committing and all I get there. Anyone else on it as well?

Some sweet, dirty hustle going on. Love it.

You've passed me! I'm sitting at just under 8k, though still planning another push today.

Penflip is interesting, but after a decade on fanfiction I just can't break the MS Word habit. It's where I was born, it's where I'll die.

    Didn't write a thing today.

Spent an hour and a half Skyping with my family and found out that my five year old niece is telling people, including her teacher, that I'm in Annoy.

I then spent the day exploring Hanoi with my maybe-girlfriend.

Still a couple of hours before I go to sleep so I might write something but otherwise I regret nothing.

1511 words today, for a total so far of 5678 so far in the month. Didn't write anything yesterday, for one reason or another, but hey ho. Today's efforts finishes the HP chapter I was working on, so I'm going to look at some original fic next, see if I can't get some of that underway before I go back to work.

As it's tradition for me I'll be starting NaNoWriMo a few days late, with a randomly generated plot and characters and such. So it looks like I'll be writing something called The Fallen Ships, I suspect you'll all be doing better than me.
